Gore's Nursery

Have bought from them many times, unfortunately they are unwilling to communicate politely when their information is wrong. Instead, they will just block you when they don’t like the correct information. They are selling "Christmas" cactuses that are thanksgiving cactuses. I’ve had this experience with other nursery’s as well, such as Pat’s telling me that English ivy was Algerian ivy. Unlike Pat’s, they are not able to recognize their misinformation & just block you instead.

Highly recommend! Great selection of native Floridian plants as well as fruit & nut trees. The prices are great compared to the big box hardware stores. You can find almost everything you need here for planting. Parking can be a little tricky, but overall great place!

Had such a fun experience here. They were quick to ask if I needed help finding anything! The woman behind the counter was hilarious and very knowledgeable. Oh- and there is a kitty roaming the property. All things I look for in a good nursery!

Prices are great here. All employees were very nice and knowledgeable. One of the biggest nurseries I've been to in Jacksonville that seems catered more towards home gardeners. They've got a great selection from pansies, Lantana, hibiscus all the way to fruit and other assorted trees. It's a place my grandfather used to go to as well so obviously they are doing something right. 🙂 They keep their Facebook updated with inventory and prices as well which is handy if you don't want to take a trip that day. If I could give more stars I would!

Yes, yes, yes great place unless you want a start a rapport with them and talk about gardening and planning. Don't got time for you. They just want to know what your total is..... as far as me trying to build a rapport with them for my project. Well they let me down as soon as I said I would like to talk to someone, she sent me some big guy that says no, we don't got time for that. They didn't even know what I had to say. All I said was do you deliver? It was straight up no, we don't have time for that. It wasn't call or come back we'll talk later. it wasn't how much is the order or how big it was. nothing, it was just no. Thanks for the help and guidance and advice I didn't get, that would have kept me coming back to you.

They have a large selection of plants that look well cared for. Herbs were only $3.99 and were a really nice size and in great condition. They had a sale on strawberry plants; $5 and the plants were already flowering! They have orange, lemon, and lime tree saplings that were already producing their citrus. They also have a beautiful selection of native plants. The owner was really friendly and helpful without breathing down your neck. We were looking for several herbs and found everything except dill, and he was able to tell us that they would be getting more dill around February/March. They had cilantro, parsley, rosemary, garlic and flat leaf chives, and more. If you're landscaping, they had tons of plants ranging from small to large, flowers, bushes, trees etc. Great nursery overall!
