Economy Hearth and Home was very helpful in assessing my heating/cooling system issues. I was able to get a quality service technician out to my place to look at my system within a couple of days. The technician was really good at communicating and pleasant to work with. I felt confident that I was in really good hands and getting a good price.

Had someone out to the house from this company last week to service our gas fireplace since we are heading into winter and we just purchased the house. Our pilot light in the gas fireplace would light as it should and fireplace ignited but wouldn't stay lit indicating there was a venting problem. The young man who came out told me he beat on the tubing to loosen carbon and now flame was coming out the bottom of the igniter. He charged this company's service fee, said he'd send a quote right away for repairs needed and left with multiple warnings not to try to light the fireplace. Not a single response just me stuck with a broken fireplace after paying this company's service fee to come out. After a week of no response and weather getting colder, I called a different repairman to come out. After a 15 minute struggle to light the pilot light, flame is now shooting out of the bottom. I now will be paying $450 to fix my fireplace. Pretty disgusted that I would trust a highly rated company and be ghosted after damages done. I am also thankful because I have another company doing work properly to repair. Gas fireplaces are not something I ever want to question safety on. Please tell your people to not touch things if they don't know what the heck they are doing. Train your people before sending them out to people's homes. If your people get to a home and cannot do the proper work, just own it, don't charge your fee and get someone else who knows how to do the work out to your customer's home.

This company is the best. They do really good work & are well priced & efficient. They have a great maintenance plan to ensure the continued efficiency & longevity of my furnace. They installed (retro fitted) it a few years ago & come out annually to check/maintain it. I am so pleased that this is one home maintenance item that I do not have to worry about.
