Salmon HVAC

Our house is an odd shape tall. The top floor in the summer is very hot, basement freezing. We opted for a mini split. It wasn't cheep, but I took the quote from Salmon and put it in chatgpt to evaluate it. I recommend, just upload the whole pdf and ask if it's fair. The result we got back was..."[this] is a fair market price, especially given Daikin’s reputation and the scope of work. If you’re happy with the contractor’s reputation and warranty backing, there’s no red flag in the pricing here." So we did move forward with it. It's been just under a month. The room is great and cool, and the air pushes down through the home. We use our other main ac less now. Total power usage, is actually down about 10% the 2nd half of the month, and 15% from July last year to July this year (yes, I did the detailed math).

Great service over many years. Salmon HVAC is my go to for keeping my house cool and warm! Friendly service, thorough, complete. They truly seemed concerned about helping me keep my total costs down not just for a quick fix or get me on a monthly service fee. Thanks for great service !

Jarom is a very pleasant and very knowledgeable person. He gave us great advice on how to maintain a comfortable temperature on all three levels by opening all the vents and putting the thermostat on "fan" so that it's constantly running. He said that would help the unit last longer. Salmon HVAC is fortunate to have him as an employee!!

Our 25-year old furnace and fan went out a few weeks ago. 95 degrees outside. Not good. Called Salmon HVAC and they scheduled an appointment same day. Brandon came over, very helpful. Gave us a couple options for solutions. We chose to replace the furnace. (original AC was replaced a few years ago.) They installed a few days later. Easy to work with. Kind. Never felt like they were trying to get us to spend money we didn't need to spend. Furnace was installed on a Friday. There was one hiccup that we noticed on Saturday. I was concerned that we wouldn't be able to get help until Monday. I called, sent to VM but was given a text option. I texted. A tech was at our house in less than two hours on a Saturday! Fixed the issue. No charge. All good. I'd highly recommend this local company over all the other massive HVAC conglomerates.
