Despite a packed schedule Chris found a way to fit me in, came to the house when he said he would, took numerous pictures showing the problem with my system, and made the needed repairs at a fair, fantastic, price. I hired Chillout AC to replace my HVAC evaporator coil in June 2023 for $1,100. Less than two years later, the coil failed...causing my system to leak water and struggle to cool my home during the summer heat. While the part was under warranty, I was charged $900 in labor to replace their own faulty install. When I raised concerns that this should not happen in under two years, I was told that "things in the air" can cause this...a disappointing and vague explanation. I appreciate that they waived an earlier service charge, but I expected them to stand fully behind their work...not pass unexpected costs back to the customer for a premature failure. As a homeowner who spent over $3,500 with this company, I feel let down by the lack of accountability. I hope others ask the right questions about warranty labor coverage before using this company. Update in response to the owner's reply: I appreciate the clarification, but this response still avoids the main issue: I spent over $3,500 with your company, including $1,100 for the original coil replacement, which then failed in under two years. Yes, you inherited the system...but you installed the new coil that failed prematurely. While the manufacturer may warrant the part only, many reputable companies choose to cover labor (or at least reduce it) when a part they installed fails so soon...because that's what real customer care looks like. Instead, I was charged $900 in labor, making me pay TWICE for the same part install. You also admitted this is a "known issue," yet no warning of this risk was given at the time of service...nor was any labor warranty offered. That's why I feel this review fairly reflects my experience as a consumer left to bear the cost of a premature failure.

I have been using Chill Out A/C service for many years. They are very professional. They checked my system out took photographs of everything and any recommendations they had on the individual parts. I am very pleased with the service that they give me and would highly recommend them.
