The service here is wonderful! We had a worker at our home today to do maintenance on our mini split system and he was so kind and professional. He explained everything that he was doing and made the system look brand new. Very communicative and experienced. He also spoke highly of his experience working for Freedom Heating. We're big fans of Chris and Freedom Heating. We got quotes from 5 different HVAC companies in the Santa Cruz area, but our general contractor warned us against going with anyone but Chris. And I'm glad we did! They installed aluminum ducts + a heat pump, and they were knowledgable, friendly, and their work was super clean. Thanks guys!

Chris and his team are absolutely amazing! Chris is very diligent punctual, knowledgeable and doesn't try to oversell you. He really knows the HVAC domain! We went with Chris to replace our furnace with a Heat Pump and he recommended excellent product configurations and even electrical contractors (Alpha Omega Electric) to handle the electrical upgrades. They coordinated seamlessly with each other. In the end Chris even helped deal with some complicated rebates associated with the electrical work. In the end they ended up being the most cost-effective vendor too. Couldn't recommend them more! If you need HVAC work done, you need to at least talk to these folks.

Todd just finished installing the second full system we have purchased from him. I have been very pleased with both his work and his prices. We will definitely use him again in the future.

I just had Freedom Heating install a mini-split (Heater & A/C) in my home office and they absolutely rocked. (And the price was fair!). I was impressed with the quality of the install. There's a 100% chance that I will call them again for HVAC needs. You'll appreciate their work.

Awesome company that saved me about $7000 compared to what Trio quoted. Obviously, Trio wanted to replace much more than Freedom did but heater is working fine. And I have a lot more of my money left.

PS You may want to ask them about the programmability of the unit you are ordering. (to: It took a while to get an installation date (hard to find enough good installers?), but Abel and Juan were good listeners, professional, pleasant, detail-orented, and competent. What more could you ask for?
