Schaal Plumbing, Heating and Cooling

Showed up promptly on time. Wore booties inside so not to track mud in. They did forget to double check if they got one of the cold air returns all cleaned out and blew dust all over the living room. Broke one of my floor vents and left dirt and debris on downstairs bathroom counter. They cleaned up the living room as best they could and offered to mop but I told them I would do it.

Andrew was on point from the moment he walked in the door. He explained all his checks/processes well. I had a concern about a ground-fault outlet in our master bathroom. He was able troubleshoot it and fixed the issue of it tripping. He was very personable and engaging the entire time. He explained all recommended repairs related to new electrical code. I will definitely request him in the future.

Mack, was the technician sent to my home to investigate an anomaly with my AC. He was very polite and professional. His attention to detail, and knowledge were impressive. Mack answered numerous questions I had with patience. His knowledge and professionalism are uncommon in a world where "just get in and out quickly" are the norm. Mack helped me to understand my system better and his professionalism and knowledge led me to trust that this company would care for this important system in my home to the utmost. I signed up for a maintenance agreement and feel confident that I will not be disappointed. Thank you, Mack, for caring.

Schaal did an amazing job responding to our emergency tankless water heater situation! We had an old unit that was going bad and accidentally broke a valve while checking on it. We called the 24-hr service number late evening and were able to arrange for a morning appointment the very next day. Chad W, our service rep & the installation team did a super incredible job!! Chad is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything in detail. They not only replaced the unit, they also repaired & replaced copper piping, tubing, etc. In addition, we had also been considering a dual filtration system and asked Chad about available options. We were very pleased to discover that they could make this part of the same work order at a very reasonable price. Everyone was very courteous and took extreme care, while working in the house and bringing equipment in and out. We were very impressed at how efficiently they installed the water heater, filtration system, and piping that very same day in just a few hours. If you're in need or find yourself in an emergency situation like we did, I highly recommend calling Schaal!!

Graham and Zach arrived exactly on time and they worked hard all day long. They didn’t take any breaks, and they worked like a well-oiled machine. They were half way done around noon and Graham kept me apprised all day long with what was going on. They were very professional and I was very impressed in regards to how they worked together and finished up around 4:30 and showed me how to use the control system before they left by 5:00. They were very timely. I also set up a duct cleaning with Schaal since I really liked the company. Graham sold me on that.

Our Schaal service man was great! He was very informative and a truly nice guy! I would highly recommend him! He also treated our home like he would his own! I hope he comes back to our home on our next service call!!!! His name was Mack Smith! A really nice man!

I've been in this line of work long enough to know when a job's done right, and this one was mostly on point. The HVAC technician knew his stuff and got everything up and running without issue. That said, the foam placement could’ve used a little more attention. It’s functional, sure, but I’ve seen better work when it comes to making sure that stuff sticks and holds up over time. It’s not a deal-breaker, but if I’m being honest, the integrity of the foam could’ve been handled a little more carefully. Overall, a solid job, but there’s room for improvement in the details
