We recently worked with Caron to install central AC in our Methuen home, and the experience from start to finish was outstanding. Bill Dastou came out personally to assess our situation and spent over an hour walking through our existing setup. He then custom-designed a system that fit the unique needs of our home, which included an older furnace and limited space for an evaporator coil. Bill stood out from other contractors by giving honest, technically sound advice — especially when he flagged that our existing 100A electrical service wouldn’t safely support a new AC system. His concern was confirmed by a third-party electrician, and that level of integrity earned our trust. Even when it looked like the project might be out of budget, Bill was supportive and worked with us on pricing. Once we gave the green light, the Caron team sprang into action. Victor handled the electrical upgrade to 200A and did a top-notch job consolidating our dual panels into one and hooking everything up cleanly. Karen and Vickie in the office were excellent as well — responsive, organized, and reliable with scheduling and payment coordination. The AC install itself was impressively smooth. A team of three professionals (I wish I remembered their names!) completed the full installation in one day — evaporator coil, condenser, water pump — and made sure everything was clean, tested, and hooked into our existing thermostat. They even managed to snake a wire through the wall, which I still can’t believe they pulled off so cleanly. Today it’s 90° out, and I’m sitting comfortably at 70° inside, humidity-free. I’m grateful to the entire Caron team — from planning to install, their professionalism and quality of work truly impressed me. They’ve earned my full trust, and I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Highly recommend!! Caron Heating is hands down the best heating/cooling service provider in MA. With a strong focus on customer service I always know they are on top of all my needs. From the technicians to the office staff, they all work to deliver high quality service every time. I have had minimal with my heat pump and generator they installed. The one time I did have an issue with my ecobee they came out right away and resolved it for me. Thank you all for making my family’s lives that much easier. We code Caron to install a mini split system in our house because of the people. Allen the sales person did a very thorough evaluation of our space and needs, always mindful of the aesthetics of the project. He was obviously knowledgeable about the project and installation. The contract process was simple as the office did everything related to the MassSave program. The installation was incredibly smooth. The installers Al and Irving were thorough, always cleaned up and were very respectful of our time, our space, and our convenience. Whenever we had a question about anything related to the work, they made time to answer thoroughly. Their supervisor Chris came by two of the three days and worked through installation issues with them and us. Also, the office called me every day of the project to make sure we were satisfied, and to ask if we had any questions. And the job was completed ahead of time! We are thoroughly satisfied!!!

Andy is incredibly professional and skilled at what he does. The entire process was smooth, and he was great at explaining the entire process from beginning to end. The customer service was fantastic as well. The level of care and craft put forward by them makes this an easy recommendation on our part.

We chose Caron Heating and Cooling over 3 other companies. First reason was they included the electrical work in the estimate. We had 2 other companies try and add it on after the fact. Then when I requested a Mitsubishi unit specifically they included other options but still provided the best price for the unit I was looking to install. Next they are a family run company and we felt comfortable with them in our home and even left for the day at one point and never questioned the quality workers they had in our house. Especially Tony and Jay who are some of the nicest hardworking installers I have ever met. A+ to Caron
