Decent experiences in the past. Our 8 year old boiler recently stopped working, and Clark was the last to have worked on it less than 8 months ago. They came out while I was out, reported that it was a malfunctioning electric component (which I knew and reported when we asked for service), and then billed us over $120 to provide an estimate. Got another company out the same day and they ended up getting the component working, and also found an issue with the heat exchange. Other company charged $80 for the service call, and promptly repaired both issues. Clark got half the diagnosis for 150% of the price. Edited to add: To the owner, your service person came while I was at work. My daughter let him in. He left before I got home from work. I didn't get any explanation until I called you all. I was definitely surprised by the bill under these circumstances, but the passive aggressive "I guess you left since didn't want to pay" line in your response is not only false, but exactly the vibe that frustrated me with you all. I would HIGHLY recommend trying Clark Heating and Cooling. They have been servicing and maintaining several of my rental properties as well as my home for the past couple years. Clark has been our go to heating people for the last couple years for my business in Milford. Very reasonable to do a great job. Always do their best to check for a #Warranty first to keep our cost down.

We had a technician come to check a potential repair of a leaking pilot valve and a leaking sealant. The repair pricing was so high, and any warranty, even for their own work, was denied. When we showed the salesman that the service technician had placed a 5" by 5" sticker for Clark on our furnace without asking for permission, he shrugged it off, as if it were common practice. At that time, we had not noticed the putty in the exhaust pipe. The Clark service "technician" had drilled a hole into the exhaust pipe, for whatever reason. As we usually do, we had asked another HVAC for a competitor's quote. After the discoveries, we decided to use the other HVAC company to replace our furnace. Brian was our service person and he did a great job. Very thorough and explained what he was checking and why plus how it should impact our cooling temperature! He also informed us about Comfort Club and its benefits so we joined this program too due to Brian’s excellent work.
