You won’t find a company with higher quality, character, and integrity than Byrd Air. Would give them 10 out of 5 stars. Cannot recommend them more. Billy installed a new AC unit for us a little over a year and a half ago. Fast forward to this week when we got our roof replaced and during the install a nail penetrated the copper refrigerant tubing. Billy came out on a Saturday, quickly identified the root cause and made the repair. He spent a little over an hour at the house and didn’t charge us a dime (completely on his own accord) because he felt like they should’ve initially installed the line further away from the roof sheathing to prevent that from ever happening in the first place.

I encourage everyone to give Byrd Air a try if you have not. Billy Byrd and his team are the best I have ever dealt with. I have been in customer service for forty nine years so I know how a customer is supposed to be treated and they go above and beyond the call of duty.

I was very impressed with Byrd AC and will recommend them to anyone. ​I was blown away with the integrity of the owner of Byrd AC (Billy Byrd). Here's why... I bought a house where the previous owners had purchased a brand new A/C unit from Byrd Air. When the new A/C unit was installed, it was not connected correctly to the supply ducts so about 25% of the cold air was blowing into the A/C room instead of my house. I called 3 different A/C companies to give me estimates to fix this. Each A/C company agreed that the location where the A/C was originally installed was very unusual (to put it nicely) and that it was not going to be an easy fix. When Byrd AC arrived, it was Billy Byrd (the owner) who I met. He was really nice and he spent some time looking at it, and when he was done, he just said "That wasn't done correctly, but we'll get it fixed at no cost to you, can you give me a few days?" And sure enough one of his guys came out and did an excellent job fixing it. In addition, Billy was so good about calling me to arrange appointments, and etc. I was so shocked because I was expecting all kinds of excuses and I sure wasn't expecting Byrd AC to fix it for free. I was waiting to hear that it was out of warranty, or that I wasn't the original owner, or it was due to some issue with the house. I was sure I'd hear about how busy he was and how hard it is to get good workers due to COVID, or that he was too short staffed, or how nobody wants to work these days, etc. But there wasn't a single excuse... just a commitment from Byrd AC to fix the issue and to do it right and they did just that. I want to say thanks to Billy and to Daniele who came out and did such a great job fixing it!

I have been using Byrd Air for years. They have always been very responsive and prompt, even on emergency after hours and weekend calls. When our outside unit finally went out completely, we got what I considered to be a very fair quote to replace the entire heating and cooling system, inside and out. When I accepted the quote, we had a new system installed very promptly. If there was a way to give more than 5 stars on a review, I definitely would. Do not hesitate to call Byrd Air if you are looking for heating and cooling help.
