Schneiss Heating & Air Conditioning

My wife and me built our home 27 years ago. After that time our air conditioner refused to cool and our furnace had started to make unusual noise in winter. We decided to have a local and trusted company replace both units. There was a four day heat wave coming and Schneiss Heating and Air conditioning was able to get us a really great price and get the AC unit in within a couple of days after the owner Jay came out to see what was needed. They showed up as scheduled and the two men were courteous, prompt and did a terrific job. Having used them in the past, we were again completely pleased and satisfied with our choice and their performance. Jay and team were the absolute best group I have had the pleasure of doing business with. My AC unit had issues last season and finally died at the end of August. They were the professional heroes that got me through the end of last season. Now they got to be heroes again! Jay provided me a fair quote. It was so reasonable, I decided to upgrade my unit (which took skill to make compatible with my furnace). They made it happen! I couldn’t have been taken care of better. Fantastic service! Mark P was at my home when he said he would be here, which was the morning of my initial contact. As a condition of the sale of our property, we needed the furnace and air conditioner serviced. Mark was efficient and thorough & I couldn't be happier.

On Thursday, July 3rd my husband and I awoke to a overly warm house and the AC not working. With more heatwave coming and entering the July 4 weekend, I wasn't optimistic that we would have working AC before the next week. However, we couldn't be more pleased. I called at 8am. Shortly later, very pleasant John (?) came out assessed the problem, ran back to the office to get the needed part, returned and replaced the part. We had AC again by 8:40am. That was awesome. Thank you so much.

Today was the fourth time we have worked with Schneiss. We’ve had them clean our duct work when we first moved into our new home, install a new central air unit, a check in on it & now they came to check on our unit not working today (in super hot temps). Each time the staff have all been friendly and helpful. Mark was the tech that came today and he simply went above and beyond. He came and checked and found everything to be running properly. Shortly after leaving the fan stopped working altogether and he was still communicating to walk me through next steps and troubleshooting to see what to do next. Unfortunately we used another company to install our furnace which was the source of the problem. That company didn’t stand behind their work and won’t fix it but Mark was still offering suggestions and best next steps. He honestly didn’t have to do any of that. Each time we’ve had them come to work at our house they have been friendly, straightforward and helpful. We would absolutely recommend working with Schneiss.

We can't say enough great things about Schneiss Heating & Air. Jay Schneiss personally came to our rescue when our A/C unit was on it's last leg on one of the hottest days in Aug. 2023 to give us an estimate for a new unit. We decided to go one step further and get a full estimate on a new furnace as well. We had several estimates and Jay was the most knowledgeable, honest and reasonable by far. He also stayed on top of everything from ordering the units to install date and checking on his awesome crew at installation. Great work!!

Schneiss exceeded my expectations! They installed a new furnace, A/C and garage heater at my personal residence and maintain our A/C and furnace at our business. Office staff is friendly and attentive, installers are punctual and knowledgeable and the owner Jay even stopped by to make sure the install was going well. They are affordable, honest and stand behind their work. 10/10 recommend!
