AC went out on a hot day. I called First Response early on a weekend and a technician was sent within two hours. Matt spent the time to troubleshoot and work on it explaining as he went. It turned out to be a more complicated issue, and Ivan himself (owner) came right over to work on it with him. They methodically (and quickly) worked through the issue, did the couple extra steps it took to make the repair correctly, and got us up and running. Responsiveness, communication, ability, professionalism, courtesy - all excellent. And all at a fair price. My opinion - You cannot go wrong with First Response.

Super fast, friendly and affordable! Matt was extremely professional, kind and considerate and took every precaution to keep my house clean while he worked on providing annual maintenance for my AC unit. He went out of his way to take videos and photos of my AC unit in my attic and outside, showing me everything he did to clean and maintain it. The company also was able to come and service my AC the same day I called. Highly recommend!

Ivan, we were deeply disappointed in your service. We very much appreciated your talking to us on Saturday morning before Labor Day and came to us so promptly after our call on Friday. But, rather than opening the unit and testing components, like the capacitor, you assumed that the unit had locked up and was not reparable. You quoted us the cost of a replacement unit at approximately $7,800 and then urged us to replace the second unit that was still functioning well because, as you stated, it was likely to fail soon, like the first unit, and it would be harder to find a R-410a unit in coming years. Fortunately, we called upon another service provider who arrived at 7:30 AM on Tuesday and, in less than 10 minutes, replaced the capacitor which was bulging, for under $275, and the unit responded immediately. In other words, Ivan, you came to us as a salesman, not a serviceman, and you attempted to sell us two units for over $15,000, neither of which needed to be replaced. Our Carrier unit is likely to run for another 10 or more years, and you should have known that. Integrity is earned over the years, and lost in one minute of poor judgment. This is a message you should carefully consider.

Mr Ivan is very helpful and was able to help us fix our unit. Knowledgeable about the AC unit that we have, he made sure our unit is up and back running in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend this company to family and friends!

Ivan and his team did an outstanding job replacing my worn out downstairs A/C unit. They arrived ahead of schedule, were knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt in removing the old unit and installing the new unit, before the summer heat arrived.
