Locally owned and operated solar company. When researching for local companies, this was the only one. IPG did my roof replacement and my solar system installation. They even worked in a contractor to repair an eroding chimney. My entire roof got a stunning face-lift and I am now worry free of potential issues. Having an almost 100 year old home, they were able to update this cottage with new technology, complete with an App to help monitor the system and the power it generates. IPG's crew is made up of smart, young, talented and hard-working individuals, they know what their doing and explained things to me during each phase of the project. Highly recommend them for your project! Thanks Jake, Tyler, and your crew!

Tyler and Jake at Independent Power Generation, responded immediately as my roofers were on the roof reroofing and had to stop because the solar company who was supposed to take the panels off and reinstall after new roof, did not show. Their response was immediate, they heard my predicament and could have charged me a lot but instead, their prices were extremely fair, and they were so friendly, helpful and reliable. They came back on their own time to show us how to use the solar app, registered our solar online (the install company should have done this but didn't) And they showed us how to analyze our solar Avista bill. I wish they would have been the original company who installed our solar because Independant Pwer Generation customer service is impeccable. I love that they both served in the Navy together and they are local, personable, and care about me as a customer. Wow, I have not seen customer service like this in such a long time!

THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN GHOSTING ME FOR FOUR MONTHS. AFTER THEY GOT PAID $3098 THEY DISAPPEARD WITHOUT FINISHING THE JOB. ALL i ASKED WAS FOR A CALL TO COMPLETE THE PROMISED JOB. I was grateful to find someone who did solar work on a residential project. Although they changed my dead batteries and did some programming, there have been many issues as to how the system is running. I have called, texted, emailed and everything short of sending up smoke signals for weeks, with NO response. And oddly, their main phone number typically doesn't connect, but I had cellphone numbers for the 2 guys who came out. I was also promised a battery balancer on May 11, the date of service, and it's now 7/29. I'm sorry to say that I can't recommend this company because of their dismal customer service.

Sadly, I've had to change my review. We've been working with IPG over multiple projects, the biggest one which is right around the corner. IPG had won the contracts for our electrical, roof, and septic for a cabin we're putting on ten acres. It's extremely time sensitive as the foundation is scheduled for July. For final approval of our loan, we need to get final estimates to our bank. This was discussed with Tyler within the last couple of weeks... now he's ghosted us! I have no idea why as he won't return calls, texts, or the note I left at the address given. Now we have to find new contractors and get their estimates to the bank. We are very much at risk for not getting the loan closed in time for the foundation and beginning of the build. Tyler knows that this project has been riddled with roadblocks, primarily due to another bad contractor. Tyler knows about the time constraints. Tyler has even visited a sample cabin with me and the general contractor heading the project. Tyler knows we spent this past winter in our RV and really don't want winter #2 in there. Our septic permit expires in August. Yet, Tyler has ghosted us. He was great, until he wasn't. We NEVER saw this coming. We're hurt, angry, and confused. There is NO excuse in a business relationship for ghosting a client. At a BARE MINIMUM, you place a phone call and make the client aware your unable to do it so they can make other plans. I can't in good conscious recommend IPG. If ghosting is an acceptable practice you run the risk of winding up in the same situation we are in. By the way, he's also ghosted the general contractor who was going to throw even more work Tyler's way. He doesn't have any idea why either. The hunt for new contractors is on and I recommend you avoid IPG. This ghosting has wiped the slate clean of the good work he's done. That good work means nothing if we don't get into this cabin before winter. Instead of helping, he's now hurt us badly for no apparent reason (at least none that i know since HE WON'T RETURN MY CALLS OR MESSAGES. This really sucks.

Had a fantastic experience with this company! Their bid came in massively under the other bids we got, they showed up when they said they would and got our service upgrade done cleanly, in a day. No surprises here, just pleasant professional electricians doing good work, for a fair price.

Top notch professionals! IPG replaced our old shingle roof and installed solar. I was kept well informed throughout the entire process from estimate to finish. They brought in equipment to get the job done right and beat the snow! Left the property cleaner than when they arrived. Very trustworthy business I highly recommend them for any roofing or solar needs.

Imagine my surprise to come home after 6:30 at night to find Tyler and his crew still working into the night to finish our job! What our last contractor lacked in integrity, Tyler and his crew make up for in spades! We found Tyler during this past summer when we ran into some issues with our solar system. He was a lifesaver then, just as he was this past Thursday night when he and his crew worked all day and even into dark to get our water line buried and power to our pumphouse to run the well pump. He and his crew have taken a world of worries off our mind, and we couldn't be more grateful! We will definitely be using him for any projects around our build that he'd like to take on, and cannot recommend him more highly. If you are looking for an honest, hard-working, smart, savvy solar savant, Tyler and his crew of young go-getters at IPG are your guys!
