Kennon Heating & Air

I bought this Carrier system new from Kennon & Kennon techs have been the ONLY people that have ever touched the system. Having a recent service (maybe 2 weeks ago?) I noticed that the outside unit was green and extremely dirty. Thinking that a simple cleaning was not included in the annual service (which it SHOULD be IMO) , I decided to take care of it myself. After removing the fan shroud, I was SHOCKED how damaged the top of these coil fins are. Considering the only people that have touched this system have been Kennon Techs, I'd assume that they would have been more careful to not damage the fins. I reached out to Kennon last week and sent pics but have not received a response. Honestly, it's just disappointing considering what these systems cost now a days. I have gotten fairly good service in the past. Photos taken roughly 2 weeks after annual service. Ammending this review because the Sales Mgr Kris & I had a good discussion around my situation here. Also having an ongoing issue with my reccuring compressor noise that they are actively trying to eliminate. They have been friendly and very willing to help with my current issues and concerns.

We were grateful for Michael Hancock to stop by and do our comprehensive furnace tune-up and inspection for the cold months, as part of our membership. He was able to quickly identify an issue we experienced the first week we were using heat and supplied a quote for the repairs. He was able to answer all of my questions and pointed out a few things that needed to be addressed before the warm months arrive. He was very professional, friendly, and efficient with his time at our property. Zero complaints with this tech. A few notes for the company overall. - Even though we bought the year membership upfront, I wish there were incentives in place for prepaying the year in advance. Something we are considering for the following year even though we feel like the service has been adequate thus far. - The reduced pricing incentive for the memberships feel like the incentive reduction was already prebuilt into pricing and we net out at no real advantage. The membership really only seems worth the routine inspection checks, or if there is a major fix that would have a very pricey bill attached to it. - Maybe providing a graphic or printout of the membership services and schedule to customers who buy in would be a helpful reminder as the months progress through the year. I do believe you get what you pay for when it comes to service techs, and so far every tech we have had over to do inspections, maintenance, or repairs have been solid. A pervious tech missed something at our prior repair, but I'll leave the details off for that, as Michael was able to resolve that for us. The membership and parts/labor price incentives should be re-evaluated.

Danny, Kennon’s installer, is a great representative of your company. He is personable, knowledgeable, considerate, timely, professional and thoughtful. Justin, a service technician who followed up, was considerate, pleasant, polite and thorough. Kennon’s high standards and customer service are reflected in these two as well as all the staff I encountered during the installation of a 5 ton high efficiency, variable speed furnace and York dual fuel (heat pump/air conditioner). Larger, less customer service focused, companies pale in comparison. When Kennon eventually grows, I am sure you will maintain the same excellent level of quality.

We were quoted thousands of dollars and told that multiple parts needed to be replaced. The technician also mentioned that the high prices were due to tariffs. However, what he explained and what appeared on the quote didn’t add up, so we decided to get a second opinion. It turned out that the only issue was our thermostat being set up incorrectly in the app. The other company fixed it easily, and everything has worked fine since. I’d recommend being cautious with this company — our experience suggests they may not always provide accurate information.

Nick did an amazing job inspecting my current units. Tool detailed pictures & explained everything he found. Joe presented all the options clear & concise so it was easy to make a decision. I was able to take my time & choose the best option that fit for me.

Overall very happy and pleased with this company. Tony thoroughly inspected my system and gave sound and proper advice regarding its efficiency. I ended up having to replace my system and again very pleased with Joseph and his team. Highly recommended. Received quick response and reasonable price

I had an excellent experience with Kennon! They are very professional, reliable, and right on time. The technicians clearly know what they are doing and take the time to explain everything.
