Legacy Home Remodeling has a rating of 4.9 out of 5 based on over 493 reviews on Google
My experience has been great! I called in from an ad that I saw on Facebook. Within minutes I received a call from the company confirming my interest. The young lady that called was very nice and polite as I explained my concern. She advised me that she had a representative that could come out to speak with me in an hour or two. That rep was Paul Johnson. Guys he's a charm! He was very professional and knowledgeable about the business. His presentation was superb, and to his credit he patiently stuck with me as I went back and forth in making my choice selections. Ask for Paul If you're in need of a rep that is knowledgeable, personable, and patient. He's your man. Hello all, I am back to give a follow-up review on L.H.R. My initial visit was great and all went well. Yesterday my front door was installed. I must say, I am impressed! My initial visit was with Paul Johnson, whom went through the presentation and explained everything perfectly. I shared my horrifying story with him of the pains I've gone through with other companies coming to my home and telling me that getting my dream door would be impossible. I had searched for over a year, and one company even held my deposit for almost five months before admitting that they couldn't perform the job. When Paul left my home that day, he reassured me that the job could in fact be done. I was somewhat confident that he would come through. The installers came as scheduled, they were very professional, and they were about their business. The Project Manager, Greg Barnette, came on site and those guys made it happen! My front door is absolutely stunning! I am excited and still in awe that L.H.R came through! I love you guys! To those who are reading this review, you can stop researching other companies. Trust me this is the company to go with- they got you! Call them now!
Had a great experience with Legacy. After getting 5 quotes I narrowed it down to 2. What I found with Legacy was the quality and service they had to offer exceeded expectations from the other companies. I had a great experience with Riley, the representative. She was very detailed, explained all our options, and made sure that we were presented with what was best for our home. I highly recommend contacting legacy for any home improvement. We were very happy with the craftsmanship and quality of the product and service.
Unfortunately I cannot post the five star review that we were expecting to when we signed a deal with Legacy. Our expectation was a five star siding job, done mostly right the first time, issues seen and corrected by our job supervisor, adequate communication, and accountability. Our experience with Legacy Home Remodeling was less than positive. The company outsourced labor to a crew that initially delivered work falling very short of expectations and was initially, largely unsupervised. Instead of an immediate apology, we were met with an admission that this was the worst crew the supervisor has had to work with. It took weeks for the crew to fix the original mistakes, which consisted of missing 45’s, areas of siding concaving on the home, loose pieces of siding, jagged edges, etc. Weather did play a part in the delay, but the sloppy, lazy work never should have happened to begin with. From the street, the siding job looks decent, but on closer inspection, the attention to detail is lacking. We were promised a five-star job, and unfortunately, that standard was not fully met. The work that was finally completed aligned with the supervisor’s standards, but it did not appear to reflect the company’s overall promise of excellence. The job supervisor was clearly hardworking but seemed overextended with other projects, which limited their focus on our home. While the poor initial work was acknowledged, no formal apology was offered by either the supervisor or the owner. Towards the end of the job, things were coming together, but still didn’t meet our expectations for this job. Even after this poor experience, our job supervisor relied on us to point out obvious things that needed to be fixed. And a lot of those things just got covered up, not truly fixed. Additionally, we felt repeatedly pressured to sign off on the job before all corrections were made, with assurances that outstanding issues would be addressed at a later date with our warranty. Some of the issues that still exist should have been corrected without us even pointing it out. The company also ordered far more material than necessary, which led us to believe the job may have been significantly more expensive than required. While the excess materials were eventually removed, many screws and debris were left behind for us to clean up. We were never able to get our sales person, company manager or owner to come out and personally see the job themselves. I really wish they could see with their own eyes the job that we paid for in full, not from any images I may share. We acknowledge that some of the final fixes improved the overall job, but the experience left us exhausted and less than fully satisfied. Is the job absolutely horrible? No. Did we expect much more from this 5-Star company? Absolutely. If we were not home for the job, I do not believe the job supervisor would have spotted or fixed a lot of the issues on their own. We share this review so future customers are aware of our experience, and we hope Legacy Home Remodeling continues to uphold their promise of delivering five-star service.
Beautiful Windows, But Horrible Service I’m giving Legacy Home Remodeling 1 star—and the only reason they’re getting that is because my black, energy-efficient crank windows look absolutely amazing. I genuinely love how they turned out. Unfortunately, everything else about my experience was frustrating and stressful from start to finish. My first appointment with Nina was on a Friday at 6 p.m. and didn’t end until 9 p.m. We were excited and paid our deposit that night. But just a couple of days later, on Monday around 8 p.m., I got a call from Nina saying she forgot to ask what color we wanted on the inside of the windows. I told her we wanted black on both sides, which is what we assumed we were getting from the start. That’s when she told me it would cost an extra $2,500—which had to be paid before the windows could be ordered. This was never mentioned before, and I was extremely frustrated by the miscommunication. I told Nina I wanted to cancel the order entirely. She apologized and said she understood. But then, on Wednesday evening, I got a call from the owner of Legacy. He said they’d be willing to cover the $2,500 due to the error, which I appreciated—but by that point, I had lost confidence in the company and still wanted to cancel. That’s when I was told that because I signed a contract, cancellation could only be done in writing, and legal action might be taken if I didn’t proceed. I felt pressured and stuck, so I moved forward with the installation just to avoid losing my money. Even after that, I had to call multiple times just to get updates on my delivery and installation. Becca never returned my calls, which added more frustration. The only bright spot—aside from how beautiful the windows are—was the team who actually installed them. They were professional and did a great job. In short: • ✅ Love the windows • ❌ Horrible communication • ❌ Poor customer service • ❌ High-pressure tactics • ❌ Would not recommend Legacy Home Remodeling
Update: We LOVE our new roof. And just in time for the summer monsoons. Our roofers were here bright and early the day they installed our roof. They were done before 3pm! Job well done and they cleaned up EVERYTHING as they went. Next day they came and put the gutter covers on. We are so happy. No more going up on the roof to clean out the gutters. We were pleasantly surprised and delighted to have Darren from Legacy come out and talk to us about their company. Plus our needs were conservatively assessed. We would recommend Legacy for anyone wanting to get educated about remodeling the exterior of their home or for anyone needing these services. The options were reasonable and the value was explained to us who are fairly new to owning a previously owned home. The payment options are also manageable for our one income household. We are happy Legacy stopped by to give us a free estimate. Can’t wait to have our new roof and gutter covers!
I’m in desperate need of new front and back doors; luckily I came into contact with Legacy Home Remodeling when I had a very nice young man stop by my house and introduced me to this company. I was then connected with Paul who came over and was wonderful! He was amazing! He talked me through all my options and bared with me as I asked multiple questions and had him alter my options multiple times to meet my needs and wants. The whole process was smooth and I can’t wait to get the new doors!
I received a quote for 22 windows at a great price. My representative Mr. Paul helped me out tremendously and worked with me. Came out on two different days and we ended up doing a deal on two house. He did a great demonstration showing me how awful my windows are. I’m super excited to get these done, and if I need any further work needed Legacy and Mr. Paul will be the first I call! He’s definitely a great guy and made sure I got what I needed at a fair price
