MR. AIR NYC

Fantastic company. We are repeat customers, starting with splits on the top two floors of our Prospect Heights brownstone several years ago and now in our garden rental apartment, and if anything the service from Mr. Air has gotten even more excellent. The office crew was efficient and communicated quite well. Zach, Ben and Eddy did the install, and were smart (they changed the location of one split to much better spot), fast, and so professional. Highly recommend.

Mr Air’s technician, Zach, was friendly, on time, clear and helpful. Also trustworthy - I ended up leaving him alone in the house for almost two hours, it went fine. He came in, quickly evaluated the size of our job, and left our system in good shape and squeaky clean. I’ve added some photos. I don’t have "before" shots but our 7 year old mini split units look clean as new.

It’s rare that you take on a home project and feel like it seems to just take care of itself, but that’s how we felt working with Mr. Air. We had four mini splits installed in the main rooms of our home while we were on vacation and came home to find they had done an excellent job with minimal disruption to the home. They communicated the right amount during the installation to make sure things went smoothly but largely took it off our hands. So nice to just return to find everything working! Thank you Zach, Alex, Victor, Wei, and Serin for your excellent work in our home. Also thanks to Joshua who I must say is an excellent communicator— we had a hard time attending to the details of this project on our end and he knew just when to nudge us so we could keep things moving forward.

Mr Air did a full-house installation for our 4-story, 2-family rowhouse. Our old configuration was a single-zone system, natural gas furnace, forced air, with an a/c condenser in the rear garden. The a/c never reached the top floor of the house which was always boiling hot in summer. Also since single-zone, the lower unit could not control their air but relied on the thermostat in the upper unit. I didn’t really know what I needed, but George came up with an excellent proposal that addressed all the issues with a minimal impact on walls & ceilings. (I wished to respect the aesthetics of this 19th c house as much as possible, and the solution does that.) The top floor now has ducted units where ceiling height permitted (ducts positioned discreetly above doors), and also ductless recessed ceiling cassettes where ceiling is lower. Top floor units connect to new rooftop exterior unit. Middle two floors use preexisting ducts to new heat exchanger in cellar (not pictured), connected to new exterior unit in garden. Finally, ground floor rental apt now has its own fully separate system with both ceiling cassette and wall-mount units. I am very pleased with the results, and recommend Mr Air highly. My install crew (Victor, Alex, Victor, and Zach) were highly professional and did great work. Ask about the interest-free financing option! The legacy furnace was left in place for supplemental heat if necessary, but one goal is to burn less natural gas. The rooftop solar I installed last year (separate project) will help to mitigate increased electricity use.

We cannot recommend Mr. Air NYC enough. They were a true end-to-end solution - from design through installation. The install itself took place only 2 weeks after initial consultation and the entire crew - Alex, Ben, Eddy, Victor, Wei, Zach, and Serafin - showed up promptly and completed the install in about 5 hours. They even came back to fix a unit that was making a little bit of noise days after the install. Again, cannot recommend them enough - truly fantastic work!

Mr. Air was amazing! Very attentive to all details and willing to address issues as they arose. Make sure to ask about code requirements for the electric before you start your project, though. Otherwise, your in greate hands. Special shout out to the teams: Zach, Alex, Victor, Ben, Wei, Darien, Eddy, Serafin, and Mei Ling and Weng in the office who coordinated everything!

Can't recommend Mr. Air and it's team enough - been working with them for 5 years and counting. We just had our annual maintenance of our mini-split system. Great service and very professional approach. Scheduling was a breeze (thank you Zane!) Even if we were a bit difficult and needed to move the date a couple of times. Darien and Zach did a great job - super efficient, professional and considerate!
