Troubleshoot home Ac not cooling… Gerardo was dressed and behaved professionally. He knew his job and was polite. I asked many questions and he was able to answer to the point giving me possible causes and of the failure along with possible way of repairing the AC problem. Also, he showed me the equipment he used and the purpose of it. Great job to me as the costumer and outstanding representing his company. Keep it up Gerardo.

So unfortunately my last review was met with gaslighting. I do feel it's important to take ownership of your staff and business. Allow me to post photos of the work I have completed after he has left. I have rerouted the line essentially fixing the clog that was not even in the location he quoted me. I resealed the panel closed. I also got a good pic of the inside of my unit where he warned me of deadly built up dander and debris that was putting hard stress on the unit. Please see attached the minimal build up. THIS IS NOT THE PIC HE SHOWED. One Hour, it is not about cost it is the fact that you LIED to my face and then I had to crawl back into my attic to prove YOUR clients I was telling the truth. You have good reviews but telling the truth would have had you back in my home to fix all the listed issues you provided. I was concerned about the clog and apparently telling your technician not right now wasn't in his vocab. He was very sweet but lying isn't the way to my heart. Instead, I got to YouTube and fixed it myself while you gaslight me on my reviews.

They installed a Carrie unit. The entire unit for $12,000. Two years later with entire Freon leak and lazy maintenance tech that were looking round to see if there are any security cameras ( which there are) and when they realize that their being filmed then got their act together. No maintenance was ever performed correctly. Now the drain system for the AC unit isn’t draining properly and when they showed up they were asking for $99 to see what the problem was and recommend the solution. They blamed my drain system of my house is the problem. Sinks not draining he said. When I showed them that’s not true he didn’t want to talk anymore. Of he went. One Hour Air installed the unit and drain so they won’t fix the drain line they improperly installed. My unit keep shutting down because of water backing up. I’ll post videos once I go on the roof to show that the vents at the house are not clogged up. Update!! Take a guess. Spoke to Carl a Supervisor and another individual that is Assistant Manager Derick. Carl is telling me it’s a maintenance issue. After photos and a video Derick said on Tuesday that they an install team will need to lift the air handler and redo the drain plumbing of the air handler and. On Wednesday someone will get in touch with me to get this done. Today is Friday and no one called. Derick also said that they work with 3rd parties that don’t want to pay for their warranty to come and fix One hour Air improper drain instal. Never heard that from them when I purchased extended warranty from them. The warranty does cover that. I read the information of the warranty and both of the guys told me that’s not true. lol lol I’ll put I pick about the warranty. Doesn’t mention 3rd parties warranty, no name or contact info about 3rd party that is providing this warranty. Funny how that works. I now have to go into the attic every 3 weeks to blow air into the drain line for the water not to back up. Every 3 weeks!! Correct. They are banking that you are a customer that don’t understand how a hvac system works and there for they can have you pay them to due maintenance. According to Carl the supervisor he said that my warranty will be voided if I don’t have them service the unit every year. I asked for his to show it to me in writing where does that say in the warranty contract. (It doesn’t). No email answer from him. lol lol So here we are. On Monday if they aren’t here to due what Derick said they are going to do. It will be time to lawyer up. I have done my due diligence to allowe them to do they good faith. Also I’ll add that I have spoken and showed other certified AC technicians the picks and video and they agreed that the drain is not properly installed. Let’s see what happens on Monday final dead line for me. One hour air didn’t install a safety low Freon switch at the compressor Derick said that it didn’t come with one and that it’s not a high end unit. lol lol There is no such thing as a high end ac unit. They work of based on ton. (2 ton and so on) They sold me a basic 2 ton unit for 12,575$ and they didn’t even put a Freon safety switch (because they forgot) the compressor ran for 3 hrs without Freon. Thank God I was home. When they arrived the tech said it will cast me 4-6,000$ to fix the copper pipe inside my wall. ( said this even before checking anything) went outside and after not have any Freon leak outside the tech look up and around for security cameras and when he saw that I have one he came in and went in the attic where the sniffing unit immediately went off. Yes 3weeks later after newly installed the radiator had to be replaced Because it leaked. Giving you this info to make a better judgement if you should use this company or not. I’ll Never deal with them again.

Victor was very professional & very nice. He listened to me and addressed my concerns. From the time I called to when he arrive it was only 30 minutes & I belive the price was very reasonable and fair for my repairs. I would definitely recommend the company and Victor to any of my friends. .

I had a very disappointing experience with One Hour Air Conditioning. Recently they charged me $964 for replacing three items (a 45+5 MFD run capacitor, a hard start kit, and a surge protector) and listed it only as a "storm kit" on the invoice. After researching, I found all three items together cost under $150, and the capacitor alone is widely available for under $50. Despite repeated requests, they refused to provide a proper itemized invoice. I understand that service companies usually charge a markup on parts, but in this case the markup was excessive — about 10 times more than market value. This is not the first time. Just two months ago, they replaced the same dual capacitor and charged me $489 for a part that again costs less than $50 in the market. In my opinion, this is extremely unfair pricing and a lack of transparency. Customers deserve honesty and itemized billing. I strongly caution others to carefully review charges before agreeing to any service.

I contacted this company to get a quote on a simple air duct cleaning. As soon as the guy got here he told me how if it was fiberglass he couldn’t do it, so I KNEW what was next. Of course he said it was fiberglass and he couldn’t do it and guess what! Oh yes…we need to replace our ducts. Sur-prise sur-prise. I told him we are currently a one income household and there is no way we could do that. He then proceeded to work up an estimate. There were three. $7k, $9k and $11k. And that doesn’t include fixing the drywall they will tear up (of course). He then got his boss on the phone and he said he could get it down to $5k. What a waste of everyone’s time. THEN they have the nerve to ask for a review?!? Well here it is. I will NEVER use this business. And I’m sure they will respond to this and say they only recommend what is blah blah blah. Save it.

I called this company in trust of their many reviews… I needed a service a couple days ago, the home had a working AC unit but some how it was not blowing cold air inside the home. They sent a technician (Brady) in for $99. After about an hour or so, technician called to say: "There was nothing wrong with the fans, I checked the wires, jump started the AC unit, but the thermostat is broken and needs to be replaced". So I asked what it meant $, to which he said: "I have two thermostats here, one for $700 and another for $600". It’s company pricing and can’t really do anything about it." I don’t know where all the good reviews come from, or this was just this one technician’s poor assessment, but my experience with ONE HOUR AC & HEAT was NOT good at all. The same thermostat costs between $140-$150 at Amazon… and after I called another contractor, he went in the next day, RESET the thermostat, rechecked main AC unit and reinstalled the thermostat I already had in the house… and the problem was fixed. I felt the technician was not truthful or was simply unknowledgable or what the real problem was and based on his assessment, COMPLETELY OVERCHARGED for something NOT NEEDED. I cannot recommend this business at this time.
