Ok this Panasonic and is all under major construction my first piece of advice is do not wash your truck entire site giant mud. It is unbelievably huge out here you’re gonna look for the I think it said TY one. It is a dirt road off of the main street. You’re gonna call the number for security, give them your BOL number which is gonna start with NEC and then about eight numbers after that once you pull in you’ll see a barcode scan a barcode and self check once you go down that dirt road you’re gonna turn to the left drive down that little street and you’ll be able to turn around and get in line. You have to have an escort and Again. If you have to get out your truck which they wouldn’t let me it is extremely off-road type mud. They get me in fast no overnight parking plenty of portal parties and they have to take your load off with a forklift and chain will provide pictures.

For deliveries: Take Lexinton down about a mile. Turn left at sign that says Panasonic Tool Deliveries. Turn left again at sign that says Panasonic Tool Staging Area. Go over the hill and use the turn around. Stage on the road, spacing your trucks at the numbers. This allows room to fold tarps in between the trucks. You can stage after 5pm for next day deliveries.

Delivering to the United Rentals area was good, and the 5 stars are for United Rentals. The security guards at the entrances are something else.

The directions to the staging area by Deena are right on point... nice and quiet with a port a John. Come in after 5pm and park for the night. I'm sure this could be a all day event for delivery, not sure yet. Time will tell.

This is an industrial hellscape. A veritable monument to city and state officials selling out the natural world and local people to global economic interests under the guise of "sustainablity." I used to ride my bike out here and it was a quiet and peaceful natural area on a back road south of town. Look at this place now. Look at all the concrete and traffic. Imagine the noise pollution and the light pollution too. It is literally unrecognizable to what it was even two years ago. If you're not directly profiting from this monstrosity, how is this anything but a net negative to your quality of life? In addition to these gripes, Panasonic has received billions of dollars in tax breaks and other incentives from the state and local government as well as discounted electricity rates from Evergy. The costs of these subsidies are already being passed on to residents throughout the area by increased rates from 6-25%. To keep up with the plant's energy demands, which "is equivalent to that of a small city," Evergy has decided to keep the coal power plant in Lawrence running (which was supposed to be phased out by now) for the foreseeable future. How does that make sense when this is a EV battery facility? What a joke. As I alluded to before, this complex is merely a testament to the reality that international corporate interests and the ho-hum promise of jobs for a few people is the only thing that matters. Everything else is cast to the wayside. What a shame.
