Variety of products to chose from, good signage organization and tag colors are easy on the eye for quick selections, prices competitive. Employees are courteous, respectful and very knowledgeable. Efficient customer line purchasing I look forward in updating on next visit.
Brought a gallon of paint and the lid fell off in my car and the backseat was full of paint. Went back to the store, talked to the fellow that mixed and would not help me on having to have my car detailed to get the paint out. Totally his fault he did not make sure the lid was secure.. When I went back, even the cashier said, didn’t he make sure the lid was tight.. I have dropped plenty of paint cans and the lid has never popped off especially after just buying it. Very disappointed in this, I loved my neighborhood hardware store and thought for sure they would stand by and make it right. So sad.
Every time I come here I’m completely ignored, while while others who are similar in age to the older employees get greeted and helped immediately. Prices are also SIGNIFICANTLY higher than anywhere else. I only come here out of pure necessity if I need hardware and even then 9 times out of 10 they don’t have what I need. They like the brag about how great their hardware selection is but if you need anything metric good luck. Overall unhelpful, overpriced and poor selection.
Darren, at this, Park Rose Hardware Location is the absolute best. I’ve been shopping here for years and all the crew. They are always so knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile. In particular today, Darren was helping me with a paint matching challenge. He stayed well beyond his shift to make it right and to make sure that I got exactly what I needed. Buying 12 gallons of paint to cover the exterior of my home. There’s nothing like having your local hardware store be your place. Thanks, Darren, Stephanie, and Rodney! ✌ ✌ ✌
Great for finding the small things needed for projects. Sometimes I find they have exactly what I'm looking for that I can't find at a larger chain hardware store. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I've been shopping here a lot in the last 6 months or so. The other night it was close to closing so I hurried my paint purchase. I don't have a phone number with this store and was not offered a receipt, being 2 or 3 minutes before closing, everyone was in a rush. I still remember the greeting I got when I walked in. "Welcome in. WE CLOSE IN 10 MINUTES "! Anyway, I got the wrong type of spray paint and went to exchange for the correct type. I was told without a phone number with them or a receipt, they couldn't do anything. The cans had not even had the tops removed yet and it was clear to them that they were purchased there. Will not shop here anymore. I'll give my business to Cascade Ace Hardware, who would have taken care of the customer. Also ,beware of being told the wrong info due to arrogance!!
I've spent a lot of money here, however the heavyset dark haired cashier lady always seems to be behind the counter when I come. She's genuinely rude. I don't understand how she still works here. I see I'm not the only one who's experienced this. It feels like an easy fix, but what do I know. Edit: the canned response is impersonal and feels out of touch. UPDATE: She's still there and still sucks with customers
