Not to mention they were the best price BY FAR giving me the confidence and certainty to move forward with our project. Avoid Pinellas Generator & Electric at All Costs! If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Pinellas Generator & Electric has been nothing short of a nightmare. They are the definition of dishonest and unprofessional. Their work is riddled with serious issues, including multiple code violations. It’s clear they either don’t know what they’re doing or simply don’t care about safety and quality. When these issues were brought to their attention, they went completely no contact. They refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes, leaving me to deal with the fallout of their substandard work. This company doesn’t just lack accountability—they also lack integrity. I deeply regret hiring them and strongly urge others to steer clear. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable company that values honesty, quality, and customer service. Pinellas Generator & Electric is NOT that company.

Just had the startup two weeks ago. Started in early July. The quality of work from PGE was excellent, electrical, gas hookup, permitting, and instruction. Big project to hook up a whole house Generac Generator. Timing was delayed through the two hurricanes we just had, and I would say 95% of that delay was from having the city hook up the gas, Clearwater Gas is not very efficient. They left a plug in the gas line on the meter when they installed it. Overall, I would recommend Dave and his crew, I will add the fifth star in a few months time.

Had generator installed by Dave, Pinellas Generator back in January. Started off by apparently pulling the wrong type of permit after the generator was already installed. At this point we're still not sure if it is in the correct location. Dave will not show up, numerous personal excuses when he does answer the phone of why he hasn't remedied the situation. Generator still does not work. I Paid close to $15,000 6 months ago. It's pretty simple - if you screw up, you just do the right thing and fix it. I own a service business as well, that's what we do.

Everything about my dealings with Pinellas Generator & Electric was perfect. Their initial response time was fast, they were able to set an appointment with me on my schedule. The technicians arrived exactly on time. Everyone was extremely professional and courteous. The work was done quickly, the price was fair, and the work area was vacuumed before they left. I could not ask for a better experience.
