They did a great job. I like the colors and the house looks sooo much better. The clean up could have been better. My main concern is about the screws and nails left behind because they could end up in a paw or tire. But other than that, they worked hard and got it done! My house wasn't it the best condition. I ended up having to pay more than what was originally agreed, but I understood why. They completely fixed the bottom part of my house. And it looks amazing!
We had a wonderful experience with Alpha Enviro Tech. They were transparent and communicative throughout the process. The team that actually did the work was incredible. They really went above and beyond. Very careful surface prep and taping. Beautiful application on every surface -- doors, trim, walls, foundation. They even power washed all the concrete afterwards for that finishing touch. Our project manager in the home office stayed in touch every step of the way, making sure we knew what to expect. We are very happy with the results and look forward to never having to paint again.
Working with Alpha Enviro Tech was easier than most projects I've done. I had Meagan from their office helping to coordinate the dates and times the workers would be out, and helping me keep up with the needed paperwork. My project started with my house exterior having them paint with their Tex-cote and ended up adding on having my rain gutters and two of my exterior doors done as well. They custom made all the gutters and even extended the length when I asked to revise the project adding another run and two more downspouts. The work team worked with us on parking as our driveway is almost always full, especially during trash day and street weeping which occurred during the project. I would recommend Alpha Enviro Tech to anyone who is looking to do work on their home.
I signed the contract with Alpha Enviro Tech with considerable apprehension, having been burned so many times over the years. I have an 1895 Queen Anne stick Victorian house, and it needed a lot of work. I had been agonizing over dry rot in several places, peeling paint on the west and south, broken spindles on the porch railing. It needed a carpenter, but carpenters don’t paint. It needed painting, but painters don’t do carpentry. I finally signed with Alpha Enviro Tech because they do it all, guarantee their work, and promised that they would not be done until I said they were done. I took a chance. Three levels of Enviro Tech management walked the property before work began, with the Project manager, Danny, in touch with me ongoing. They matched colors and secured permits. They addressed all my concerns. I fully expected to be disappointed, but instead, the crew who showed up exceeded my expectations on an almost daily basis. Working for Brandon Paint Company, Ulysses, Antonio, Daniel, Jaime, and Alejandro, arrived early, stayed late, worked hard in between, and cleaned up every day. They are skilled at everything. (I must insert a special shout-out to Antonio, a craftsman with a wonderful case of perfectionism.)They found and replaced dry rot where I had not seen it, taped off windows perfectly, tracked down lumber only used on Victorians. My house required three colors, on lots of little features, going to peaks thirty feet off the ground. Whenever there was a decision to be made, they consulted me, never making the choice for me. They went above and beyond on several occasions. I continue to enjoy the beautiful work they have done, confident I will never have to do it again. This work will outlast me.
We had a great experience having Alpha Enviro Tech repair the exterior of our home and paint it!! My apologies for not remembering names, but everyone we encountered was courteous and friendly, from the initial quote/sales meeting all the way through to the walkthrough at the end. We really appreciated the open lines of communication, daily texts to update on progress and what we should expect the next day, and that they showed up when they said they would (it's a low bar, but so many don't hit that one and you're sitting around waiting all day for someone to show up, thinking maybe you didn't need to wake up so early or take the day off). The work itself was also exemplary. They left our property clean and neat every evening before leaving for the day. The lines between main color and trim are sharp and clean, which I very much appreciate. They also went through and made sure the stucco patterns from previous external repairs matched in addition to all the repairs they already had to do. The only thing I wouldn't have minded was some time built into the process to do paint tests on the walls so you can see the colors on a larger scale before committing. The medium gray color I wanted turned out to be a little more blue than I'd envisioned... but it's grown on me. Something to keep in mind when you go through the process;;; Overall, though, I am thoroughly happy with the job done... it's almost like having a new home. Just gotta work on getting that grass back to its previous shade of healthy green, apparently;;;
1/2 This is going to be a long one but it’s necessary. Chris the sales guy, was a super cool guy, very informative and thorough. He explained all the ins and outs of getting Tex Cote paint on our house. Now, we were in no hurry to paint our house at that moment, we were just shopping around because it was going to be our next project. We were actually working on our back patio/pergola around the time Chris came by. We were scrapping paint and sanding the wood down ourselves. We did a walk through around our house and Chris pointed out some bad wood on the fascia of the house, he said those would all be replaced. He pointed out imperfections in the stucco, said all that would be repaired. He also noticed we were working on the patio and he said they could replace every bad piece of wood and Tex Cote the patio as well. We were honestly sold when he told us that, solely on the patio itself since it was becoming a lot of work for us to do ourselves. He spoke so well about their workers and the professionalism and quality of their work we were feeling pretty confident and comfortable with everything Chris said. The price he quoted us was very high but reasonable considering all the work that needed to get done. We were very excited, so excited we called him back for a quote for windows and gave him the go ahead to move forward. They have sub contractors for these jobs, which is something that wasn’t disclosed to us. He made it seem like the company had their own workers working on these jobs, but we said okay no big deal. We had Julio’s crew show up to the house on day one to power wash the house. The next day they dug the trench around the house for proper application and touched up the stucco. They also filled the cracks in the wood with some type of wood filler looking paste. Everything was going well until I saw them start taping everything up. I asked if they were going to start painting and the guy told me they were going to start priming! I was confused because there had been no scraping, no sanding, and no wood had been replaced! But I’m no professional I figured maybe they had their own way of doing things and I left it alone. They primed everything, very unevenly might I add, there were primer runs on my garage doors and they got primer on a ton of my roof tiles. I still gave them the benefit of the doubt because surely they aren’t going to paint over runs and splatter right? Wrong! The following day they started to paint the actual color we had picked out, right over the primer splatter and drips, and the non sanded patio. The patio looked like they had finger painted that wood filler because they did in fact use their fingers and didn’t sand it so you could see all of it, it wasn’t smooth it was very bumpy. I was honestly quite upset. I contacted Julio the supervisor and expressed my concerns. Mind you these guys moved way too fast, I came home from an errand and half the house was already painted. I told Julio that the attention to detail, that professional finish i was paying for I was not seeing. There was no attention to detail at all, the job looked rushed and they half assed the prep work. He said he would come by and do a walk through with me so I could point out the concerns I had. When he came the next day I had a paper front and back with things they needed to fix. I told him about the guys not scrapping any old paint off, how they missed spots that needed stucco repair, none of the bad wood had been replaced and that they had done zero sanding, none what so ever. The only spots that looked decent were the 4 beams in the patio we had scrapped and sanded ourselves prior to hiring them. I told him we could have done what they did, we hired them because we want it to look like it was done by PROFESSIONALS. He reassured us everything would be done correctly and we would be very happy when they get done. The guys came back the next day did a little sanding here and there attempted to fix the runs on the door and continued to paint the final color. 1/2 (will post 2nd part!)
I replaced 3 doors and 1 window in my old townhome with Anlin ones. All double pan glass with argon gas. Alpha Enviro Tech were very professional all along and the crew did a great job with the installation despite having to deal with lots of stripped and rusted screws because it's an old house. One thing to note is that the installation also included a trim around the door which I found a very nice add-on. It has been 1 week since the installation and I can feel the difference in thermal insulation and the heater ON/OFF cycles.
