United Solar Electric

We decided to have solar installed at our house recently in the Central Valley, and went with United Solar Electric, given their strong reputation. We could not have been happier with the entire process. From the sales team, to the design team, to the installation group, they were all extremely professional and did a great job at communicating every step of the way. They also did a great job of educating me on how the system worked and what to expect, which was great considering I knew absolutely nothing about solar at the time. The installation of the panel assembly as well as the battery system was done very clean, and the system is working precisely as intended. I would highly recommend this company if you are considering solar!

We installed rooftop solar panels about six months ago, and so far, everything has been going well. The installation team did a great job, and despite a few issues during the process, we are overall very happy with the quality of the system and the installation. The system is generating an excellent amount of electricity, and they used the best panels available on the market at the best price. Our only complaint is that they did not inform us in the original contract that the ducts would be routed around the house instead of in the attic. As a result, we had to pay an additional amount for this change and sign a new contract. However, considering the quality of the system and the professionalism of their work, I believe they deserve a five-star rating!

I had a great experience getting my solar system from United Solar Electric. From sales to installation and turning on the service, the entire process was executed according to the schedule outlined in the contract. Everything went smoothly. The project was scheduled to be completed in three months and was finished two weeks early. It's working without a hitch. Shoutout to some people I worked with the most at USE: Sales: Angel Ortiz Angel was a great guy to work with. He was patient in helping me understand how solar works and what competing options were available. He helped me find the right size solar system for my needs. His pricing was also competitive. Most importantly, I really appreciated that there was one go-to person that I could get all my questions answered before I buy. Project Manager: Anahi Ortiz Anahi managed my installation. She communicated with me regularly to keep me updated on our progress. Everything went smoothly and on time, from the evaluation, installation, inspection, permits, touch-ups, to the final turn-on. Every target date was met on time, and there was never a moment when I felt lost or unable to find someone to help. Evaluation/Installation Team and Inspection/Turn-on The installation looks good. I didn't see any visible damage to my house. The installation team installed the equipment as I had instructed. For example: (1) they kept the electric conduits away from the skylights to avoid future skylight maintenance that could damage the solar system if they were too close, (2) they installed the batteries on two wall studs instead of one for stronger support, and (3) they made the conduits more aesthetically pleasing by using more straight lines with minimal steps. Areas of Improvement: The battery outer shell cases had multiple scratches along the edges and on the front side. They were probably laid on the concrete ground and dragged or kicked while the main batteries were installed or during inspection. While the product is outside the house and I won't notice the cosmetic blemishes, I still wish that they could look impeccable, especially considering the cost.

United Solar completed a rooftop solar installation for me and I am very happy with their work. I had a ton of questions and they were able to help guide me through the process. I completed a roof replacement right before the solar, so I was a little nervous about the penetrations. However, my roofing company sent someone to inspect the solar install and they said it was one of the cleanest solar installs they have seen. I would definitely recommend United Solar and Electric for your solar project!

We have just wrapped up our solar project with United solar and we couldn't be more happy with the system that they recommended for our house. I first spoke with Angel Ortiz who is the sales Administrator and between him and the owner Ryan explaining the system that was most applicable for my home , I had full confidence that this company was the right company to use. We signed the contract towards the end Dec 2023 and the solar system was installed by the end of January 2024 , just a few days over 1 month even with rain delays during January. United Solar's installation crew were simply fantastic with Garrett doing the install for the batteries and other system components. He really took the time to make sure that all the conduits were placed so that it looked seamless inside our garage. Michael and his crew were the ones that installed the Solar panels and they too were extremely professional and efficient in installing the panels. Daniel, one of United Solar's Onsite Tech Managers was always there to answer questions and trouble shoot anything that came up during the project. Daniel always went above and beyond of what was expected. All of united Solar's crew were super friendly and knowledgeable with the system and system components. Their pricing was the most competitive amongst the 6 companies I got quotes for this project. Overall , I am extremely happy with the Solar system and with United Solar Electric. This is a sizable investment for our home and I am more than happy to recommend United Solar to anyone that is looking to get a Solar system installed. They will look after you.

We recently had an Enphase solar system installed by United Solar Electric and had a great experience from start to finish. Their team demonstrated expertise across all phases—design, permitting, installation, and securing utility permission to operate. Their pricing was competitive with other quotes we received through EnergySage, and they came highly recommended by a friend. While a few issues arose during installation, they handled everything smoothly and professionally. Special thanks to Ben, who was consistently responsive and dependable throughout the entire process.

When deciding to go solar, we first did a bit of research - online, speaking with neighbors, looking at reviews - before reaching out to solar providers for bids. Some got back to us immediately, some never did. Even the better-known providers were less than responsive, initially or going forward. We ultimately went with United Solar Electric. Excellent customer service at every turn, not always part of today’s business strategy. The entire process took a few months due to coordination between various entities – installation, permits, city approval, PG & E interaction – but in the end, we are very happy with the outcome. And in just a few days, our PG & E usage is way down. So glad we went with United Solar Electric.
