Great service! I called in the morning to inquire about service of our gas fireplace and Mike said it could be done the same afternoon. Our fireplace is working again like it’s brand new. The pricing was very fair and transparent. Definitely recommend!

Nova Green Energy was highly recommended by my neighbors on our online community board. I was able to schedule an appointment online and Delio arrived the next day to check my fireplace. He also gave me helpful tips on maintaining my gas fireplace, including how long to have it on, how to turn it on and off when the cold season ends. He was polite and kept the living room area clean and removed his shoes without me asking. Thank you!

Mike replaced our A/C and heating unit a year ago. Just recently it broke down and we asked him take a look at it. He said he did not know what was wrong with it and told us to get another technician to fix it when he was the one who installed the unit. Later, another company diagnosed the problem. When we told Mike the problem was the compressor, he refused to fix the unit saying he didn’t want to do it. Initially, I gave him a good review but after this experience I will not be recommending or referring him to others.

NOVA Green Energy promptly responded to my inquiry about servicing our gas fireplace and scheduled an appointment within the week. They arrived on time and did a thorough job of inspecting and cleaning our fireplace. They also re-lit the pilot light and fixed the remote control feature of the fireplace. We will rely on this company to service our gas fireplace in the going forward.

Mike was great to work with getting my gas fireplace burner and logs replaced. He provided clear information regarding my options and provided prompt quotes for different options when requested. All interactions and were were prompt and professional. Mike helped me understand the difference between vented and non-vented systems (Vented burns very inefficiently and loses a lot of heat because it requires a wide-open flue to vent , and the non-vented burns very efficiently and loses much less heat because it requires a minimal flue opening). I switched to non-vented and expect to save on my gas bill. It only took a few days for him to get our log set once selected and he was luckily able to install the same day. His instruction regarding the new set were clear and he didn't leave until he was sure we understood the new set operations.

The pilot light went out on our gas fireplace. Mike and his associate were at our house within hours of our call on a Saturday afternoon. They worked efficiently to relight the pilot, clean the fireplace and log assembly, found that the valve assembly was damaged and set a follow-up appointment for replacement on the following Monday which was likewise completed in a timely and thoroughly professional manner. They also cleaned, tested and relit a second gas fireplace which we had not used for many years due to an unpleasant smell when was it operating. In all cases, they worked with utmost care around our things and were extremely thorough in cleaning around their work. It was a pleasure having the team in our house. We whole-heartedly recommend NOVA Green Energy!
