Highly recommended! We had our first phase of solar panels installed a few years ago by a different company, and the experience left a lot to be desired—everything was subcontracted out to people who clearly didn’t care, and it showed. Icon Solar was a breath of fresh air for our phase two install, which included additional panels and a battery. Josh was incredibly responsive on the sales side, and the entire installation team is employed directly by Icon Solar—not subcontractors. The crew was always prompt, professional, and respectful. Their pricing was also very competitive. I’m extremely happy I chose to work with Icon Solar this time around.

We purchased panels from Icon about six months ago and are happy with the results. They were the most expensive of the companies we talked to, however, they made my spouse and I feel the most comfortable with down to earth sales that didn't use any smoke and mirrors (unlike some of the other companies we got bids from). Financing was straight forward and fair. Interest rates were competitive with other companies. As you can imagine, solar was one of the largest investments we have ever made, and as such, I had a lot of anxiety. I was on the phone to them, trying to organize or get updates, all the time --- and they were gracious about it. They always returned our calls and handled the work in a timely manner. They had the quickest install time estimate--- which they exceeded. From start, to permits, install, and connection to the grid was right around six weeks. Less than half the time of their competitors. Our experience with Icon Solar has been overwhelmingly positive. We are still waiting to see if the system will cover as much of our energy as projected, but so far it looks good.

I recently had a solar system installed by Icon Solar and I was impressed from start to finish. In the beginning, Marc was very accepting of all my questions and very patient as I took time to make my final decision. During the installation process the team of installers were extremely respectful of my home and my time. They arrived on time and promptly completed the install and kept me informed throughout the process. Once completed they provided a thorough review of the paperwork and what I should expect going forward. Icon was recommended to me when I started this process and I would certainly recommend them for those looking into a solar system.

From the low pressure sales experience to the very professional installers to the after -install support when we had a small issue with the system, everyone at Icon we encountered was helpful, professional and generally great to work with. To a person they repeatedly did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. I went with Icon on the recommendation of a friend who used them a year or so ago and I recommend them to any of my friends or family in the area who are looking into solar.

We are very happy we chose Icon Solar to install our system. The electricians and installers are experienced and professional. Our energy bill has dropped from $300+ to below $30. In addition, they have provided excellent customer support anytime we have questions.

We have been rooftop solar for about 6 months and delighted with Icon. They were basically turnkey, handled all designs, permits, installation and post installation monitoring and support. A key factor for us is that they are locally owned and operated and the installers were employees, not subcontractors. They've been focused primarily on solar for 20+ years. I was also very impressed at how well they calculated our consumption, right-sided the number of panels and guaranteed a minimum level of power production. Even with an EV charging at home and AC running all summer while I work at home, we have produced more power than consumed, wiping out the entire power bill each month and even resulting in a small credit towards the gas bill for the water heater. Highly recommended and totally satisfied with our project and investment.

We had a great experience with Icon Solar. We've had the system for over a year. Owning a solar energy system requires zero effort (the only blip so far has been with the *software* that monitors the system, so I lost a day's worth of data, while still receiving power from the system). It is such a satisfying experience to get low double-digit electricity bills while running my AC through the summer. If I had a larger roof I would add more panels and pay nothing for electricity. But why Icon? Excellent and honest people! A year into ownership, Marc still responds to my text or email immediately. Before my purchase, Marc pointed out that I was overpaying for electricity with my provider, a fact another solar company I considered didn't bother to tell me. Icon folks are honest straight shooters who know what they are talking about. I strongly recommend this company.
