This company will not support customers only installers. Their automated systems literally say installer support only and then that system hangs up on you. My inverter dead for years was replaced by installer then the installer said new inverter will not activate or pair with panels and the label on the inverter box from Solar Edge doesn’t match the newly installed inverter board hardware that is in the box. The installer (Vital Energy) tech told me to call Solar Edge and then left. When I call Solar Edge they just hang up. This after $1000 of repair charges. Still no solar system. Choose alternative product than this company’s.

Solar Edge promptly responded with promises to fix the problem, but now I've been ghosted. And I don't have a properly working inverter. Along with lots of other abandoned customers, that's where I am. History: My SolarEdge inverter failed twice in six years. Beyond the breakdowns, SolarEdge support has been jerking my electrician around with endless hoops. I’m still without a working inverter, and my electrician bill is skyrocketing since their warranty doesn’t cover labor. A warranty that costs me more for their subpar product is useless.

I would give this company zero stars if possible. I have been waiting 4 months for a replacement inverter. One of the 2 went out and I am essentially making no power. Cannot get a hold of anyone in customer service so essentially I have had no power generation the entire summer. TERRIBLE SUPPORT FYI. Our original installer went out of Business, called a different installer that was suggested by SolarEdge no one answered, NO HELP. Called a different installer. Paid them to come out and check it. They ran all of the tests required by SolarEdge. They got confirmation that the inverter is still under warranty and a new one would be sent, that was 4 months ago. Apparently they are going to wait out the next 7 years on the warranty. They DO NOT CARE about their customers. We are getting a huge thunderstorm tonight. I got a message from the app that they were going to charge the battery because of the severe weather, but the battery has NOT been charged since about a week after the inverter went out. Absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

Update.. no Solaredge need to approve my warranty so the 3rd party could install my new inverter. It should not take months before yall approve for me to receive a new one. So the reply was BS.. I know if my next place have solar i know a who not to get. I rather have no solar than this company. It Should not take this long for you to approve for my inverter. In the meantime, my electrical bill is going up.

Buyer beware! Horrible company with piss poor customer service. The first inverter failed after about 6 months. No one alerted me via app or email that there was a problem. Second inverter failed after a year and half, again I had to discover it randomly via the app. We are losing money the whole time and they take forever to get a new inverter, or the same low grade design. The customer service guy basically said they don’t do customer service and that we have to contact the installer. The installer said dealing with Solaredge has been a nightmare. I get your inverter sucks, but you can’t even add an error message in an app for all the people who pay you thousands for faulty products?! Make sure you get a local installer because you will be needing to deal with them. How about you upgrade my inverter this time. Shady operation. Update: It is now October 2025 and less panels are working than before. Solar edge still have never gotten a hold of me. I think our second inverter is failing. SolarEdge must have paid for the positive reviews on here. They are so terrible. I am now about to have my third inverter for seven years of use. If you can’t make something that works longer than that, time to close the business. If your solar installer is trying to install SolarEdge products, tell them to stop. On top of all this, they will take forever to replace the inverter, costing you a lot of money of no electricity production. They won’t care. They won’t communicate. They will tell you that they are going to ship it "soon" with no date in sight.

Cannot log in to SolarEdge app/ or create and account for it on their website. Zero customer service. They’re chat bot on website is no help. Their phone number is no help. No way to get in touch. Their inverters break. Poor business tactics. Of course if they reach out and help me, I would be happy to adjust my review. POOR business structure. Avoid at all costs. I don’t want an apology for your lack of customer service. We ALL want you to FIX IT. Restructure your website with a few simple edits to include a valid phone number or at least a way to get some help.
