Greenway Solar

They took 3+ weeks to respond to my request for a Tesla PowerShare Gateway installation quote. During that delay, I hired another company to complete part of the work. When they finally responded, I explained I still needed them for the remaining work, but they simply told me to work with someone else. Disappointed they weren't willing to work with me despite my patience and continued interest.

I hired Greenway to cover my south-facing roof in solar panels. They made it so simple. The Greenway team managed all the applications and permits with the city and Xcel, and when the time came for install, they completed the work in just a couple days. The install crew is kind and they treat your home like their home. Now my house is generating electricity and it's fun to track it on the app. And most importantly, Greenway is not a huge national company. They're from Minneapolis. They're a part of the Twin Cities community and they're committed to it. Nothing but respect for this group. I highly recommend them.

I had Greenway Solar replace my roof with solar shingles and it was the best experience ever. A few things. 1st, Greenway Solar worked with Excel, which is not easy, to get the system approved and up and running, very easy for me. 2nd, The work was top notch and the roof looks great, they were efficient, fast, and clean. 3rd, We had a huge hail event last summer and all of the roofs in my neighborhood got replaced, but not ours, ours was just fine. 4th, I am very close to having all of my electricity paid for by my roof, so close, and that is with and EV and and electric heat pump for heating and cooling. Love it all!

I had Greenway Solar install a home EV charger for my new Rivian vehicle. The team was very professional through the entire experience. Each individual who came to our home was clean, well spoken, and very courteous treating our property like their own. My detached garage did not have the appropriate wiring to support the install directly so they figured out a way to run the needed wiring in the cleanest way possible without having to cut into our home or garage unnecessarily. Sometimes, contractors will come out and want to get the job done fast and easy and don't care what kind of mess it leaves or how it looks. This team took great pride in doing the job right and to the highest standards. Kudos team!

The entire team performed an outstanding job of planning, installing and supporting our 14KW Tesla Solar roof and powerwall at our fairly remote Cabin in North WI. This was a first in the region and had a lot of scrutiny. Greenway Solar handled the entire process perfectly, Representatives from the power company, state inspectors (Solar, City, Fire Department, and WI Focus on Energy ) were impressed with the build and the quality.

I can't comment on the quality as they never responded to my inquiry for a new Tesla solar roof. I do have a new roof - not by Greenway, though. Edit: the company president reached out to me via email (3 months after the above review) stating that they sent me an email originally. Unfortunately, I never received one. Raised from 1 to 3 stars for them acknowledging my complaint.

As engineering firm, it is very important that we do work with great vendors. Greenway Solar Systems is just that. They are highly knowledgeable, are organized, and communicate very efficiently. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to switch to solar!
