Affordable Solar

Built our dream home out in the country but electric company wanted $18,000 just to run power lines to our property. That’s when we found Affordable Solar. Eric came out and designed a complete off grid system for way less than what the electric company was quoting. Installation crew showed up on time, worked clean, and had us up and running in 3 days. 6 months later and we’re running everything: AC, well pump, all our appliances. Haven’t had a single issue. Best part? We own our power instead of renting it forever. These guys know what they’re doing and don’t break the bank.

Finally, a solar company that doesn’t feel like a used car lot. Shopped around with 5 different solar companies and Affordable Solar was the only one that didn’t feel like a high pressure sales pitch. Eric came out, looked at our roof and electric usage, and gave us an honest assessment. No financing tricks, no "limited time offers," no pushy sales tactics. Just straight talk about what solar could do for us and what it would cost. Installation was professional and they cleaned up everything. System’s been running great for 3 months. Production is exactly what they said it would be. Refreshing to work with people who actually care about doing good work instead of just making a quick sale.

Our solar system started acting up right before a long weekend. Not ideal timing. Called Affordable Solar expecting to leave a voicemail and get a callback Tuesday. Eric himself called back in 20 minutes and had someone at our house the next morning. Problem was a blown fuse in the disconnect box, simple fix but we never would have figured it out ourselves. Technician was professional, explained everything, and even showed us what to look for in the future. Didn’t try to oversell us anything. Just good honest service when we needed it.

Affordable Solar is an outstanding company! The technician, Duane, was prompt, courteous and explained what he was doing every step of the way. I highly recommend this solar company to anyone.

Had someone come to my parents door at piss dark asking if I had time to talk about solar which I thought was strange at that time of night but what gets even creepier is the Charles dude that was supposed to be coming to our house … do your Criminal background checks and research on ANYONE you let into your home like that especially if they are going to be showing up late and towards the night time . I created a fake account just to leave this review because I’m concerned that if this company sees my last name they can just track the house they went to since they had put us down for an appointment, we just said yeah sure to the appointment because it was late and I wanted him to leave . I never let anyone inside the house normally so when I found out that their manager would be coming over to talk and sit I did my research on who I’d be just letting come inside the house and I’m glad I did because we canceled the sit right after . always be cautious of who you let into your home .!
