From there, TFS staff was extremely helpful in guiding us through the whole process—from financing to how to understand our system and how to make the most of our solar. TFS are honest and knowledgeable. They design your system to be what you need and not more. They offer lending options that are generous and safe. They make the process simple and efficient from beginning to end. This is unlike other companies I interviewed for my solar who wanted to over sell me and lure me into predatory loans all covered in "tax credit" promises. In that environment TFS is a breath of fresh air. In my opinion, this is the best company for the job in Tucson. And with their loan options, may be one of the best companies out there. Because of their great services, they are very busy. Trust me, it’s well worth the wait to get on their schedule.

Now I see why. From the very beginning, TFS was transparent, fair, and genuinely valued my input. Unlike other companies that pressured me to sign an agreement immediately after reviewing an initial proposal, pushed overpriced systems and only considered my current (rather than future) energy needs, Taylor worked with me to design a system that fit what we felt would be best for my home now and long-term, she explained the options clearly, and even upgraded me to slightly larger panels at no extra cost when the originals weren’t available. Their pricing was more competitive than anyone else I spoke with, but more importantly, it felt honest. The process was seamless. TFS handled all the permitting, inspections, and utility paperwork — something I’d heard horror stories about taking months (or even over a year) with other companies. Thanks to their knowledge and local experience, I was connected to the grid in under a week, which blew me away. The installation itself was fantastic. They sent two crews and finished the main work in just a day — a huge relief since installation is understandably noisy and was a little stressful for our dogs. Communication throughout was excellent, and the data monitoring walkthrough at the end was a real highlight. Steve was an absolute delight to talk with — patient, clear, and genuinely excited to teach me how the system works and how to track my production. I left that meeting feeling empowered and confident. I did some searching in 2017 re rooftop solar. It was clear to me that using a local business was key if there are any complications. I got 3 bids and TFS was very competitive and employee owned. They put in my first system in the winter of 2018 and I added additional panels this year. They have always been respectful, with time and property. Communication was easy and fast. TFS has installed a solar system for us with 20 panels and 2 Tesla Powerwalls. They've been great to work with - great communication. They couldn't install the outdoor switch on my wall because my TEP service panel was too large, so they replaced it without additional cost. Monitoring the system performance on my iPhone works great.
