One of the worst companies I have ever come across. They were used as a third party to install our solar panels. We have had an issue where half of our solar panels are not working. We had them come out and everything was confirmed that it was on them. Months of trying to reach out has amounted to nothing. We have lost 100s if not over 1000 dollars in electricity bills due to this issue. DO NOT USE THEM!

Excellent experience with Soleil Energy. Highly recommended! Why Soleil? in short: Trust, Quality and Service. Keep reading for details on my experience from beginning to end. I got quotes from 3 companies. 2 where large, highly rated companies that do business in San Antonio and Austin. Then I spoke with Alex M. with Soleil. I did a lot of research so I had a very good idea how residential solar systems work, who the major players in the business are, what I wanted and how much was reasonable to pay. Company #1- Amazing presentation, very slick and thorough. But, they are very expensive and the sales guy was lying and making thigs up just to close the sale. No flexibility on the final product since they only sell one brand of panels and inverters. When I called the sales rep (out of courtesy) to tell him I was going with someone else, he texted me "Oh WOW' - like I am such a dummy to choose anyone else but his company. No thanks Company #2 - I dealt directly with the "VP of Sales"- he told me his title like 10 times before it was all over. Again, they have a brand of panels and inverters they like to use (probably because they have better margins) and when I asked for a quote with the panels and inverters I wanted he basically didn't listen and continued to try to sell me his set up. I never did feel I could trust him either. Not as expensive as #1 but still pricey. Pass. Soleil Energy- It's a local business owned By Abbas Younes. I spoke to Alex M. who was very honest, down to earth and genuinely interested in providing exactly what I needed and wanted. We spent time designing my system with Abbas help. I asked for specific panels and inverters and they where able to get them for me with no fuss. Their quotes where far better than their competition. I asked to meet Abbas in person and he made a trip (at my convenience) so I could meet him. At the end I decided to go with them primarily because I felt I could trust them. The fact that they where able to provide me with the exact equipment I wanted and at the best price was just the icing on the cake. They kept their word during the whole process, they where on time and very considerate of my property during the installation. The job went smooth and a small issue that needed attention was addressed immediately by Abbas himself. My system has been up and running smoothly since mid October and I could not be happier. I am able to monitor my production, my consumption and how much I import/export from the grid; all from my phone or computer. I am producing exactly what I was promised and my savings are what I expected. My gut told me to go with whom I felt I could trust and it payed off in spades. Give them a call and experience better service, better prices and better system from Soleil.

I contacted many different solar installation companies looking for someone who operates in my area (150 miles west of San Antonio) and Soleil Energy Solutions was the only one willing to make the trip out here. Fortunately for me, they’re also a great company to work with. I was able to deal directly with the owners of the company, Abbas and Jennifer, and their customer service is top notch. They had a customized assessment the day after I contacted them which included the size of system best suited for my home and energy consumption, the cost of the system with all the rebates and tax rebates I qualified for, and the amount of money I’d save on my light bill. They also offered me multiple financing options and guided me through that whole process. I had a ton of questions throughout the entire process and whether I emailed them or texted them after business hours, I got a response right away. They took care of everything for me including securing the rebates and city permits so I didn’t really have to do anything. The crew they had doing the actual solar panel and backup battery installation are all veterans, which I really appreciated because of their attention to detail. They were very courteous and they made sure the panels added to the curb appeal of my house as far as their placement. I’m really excited to finally have a solar panel system for my home and I’d definitely recommend Soleil to anyone who’s interested in switching to solar too.

There are several companies out now installing solar panels. I’ve heard some horrible stories about some of them and even had some initial experience as well but with other companies. Soleil Energy is not one. Every step of the process for me could not have been better. David was excellent about communication, what to expect, how long it would take and even reminding me to follow up with the rebates. I feel fortunate that I was referred to Soleil.

Abbas with Soleil did a spectacular job helping me relocate my solar panels from one home to the other. Every time i had a question or concern regarding the panels or installation Soleil would immediately provide an answer and helped ease stress or any worries I had. Jennifer and Abas have been amazing to work with. I wanted to wait a full year to provide a review (8/2018 was the install of 27 panel system). Overall the install has been a great success. Jennifer worked with me while I finished grad school and helped me come up with a plan to execute once I was ready. Soleil was never pushy and waited until I was ready to move. They always answered all my questions and addressed any concerns. They also went above and beyond in installing a covered patio that also served as a partial base for my solar panels. I would highly recommend them if you have custom needs and want a great product and service. At any since the install, they have continued to provide support as needed. They have never turned back on their promise to ensure I was satisfied. I look forward to continue working with them as my needs change and hope to become an advocate for their quality work and design.

This is so bizarre. There is nothing but positive reviews for Soleil Energy Solutions online. But my experience has been horrible. My panels were installed back in Sep-2021. I signed off on the financing docs on the understanding that the only thing left to be done was the city inspection, which was scheduled for early October. It is middle of Feb-2022 and I still have not passed inspection. I have no doubt the owner, Abbas, knows what to do because he always knows what to say. The problem is in delivering what he promises. Just last week Abbas promised to be at my house on Thursday to fix some damages that occurred during install and then again on Friday for the inspection with the city. He didn’t show up or call or respond to my calls or texts. It’s Monday and I still haven’t heard from him, he doesn’t pick up his calls, and there’s nobody at his office that answers phones either. This has been incredibly frustrating! For all the money these systems cost, a certain level of service and professionalism is expected. I have truly been disappointed and cannot recommend this company.
