I had a fantastic experience at the Home Depot on Forest Ave. SINY location, thanks to Sarah in the Window Treatment Department. She was incredibly helpful in guiding me through all the options and making sure I found exactly what I needed. On top of that, she even followed up afterward to ensure everything was going smoothly which was really reassuring. Definitely some of the best customer service I've had in a while.

I dealt with Geri in the flooring department at the Veteran’s Road location in Staten Island I had no idea what I was doing as I had never my floors before. Geri had so much knowledge to share!! She went over the different brands with me and the different colors & gave me a lot of helpful advice! She also answered any questions I had when I called after I left the store, made sure I ordered the correct amount of product and told me to call her if I had any additional questions!! So much knowledge & great customer care!! I hope Home Depot knows what a gem they have in Geri! I couldn’t have gotten through this project without her on my floors have turned out beautiful! Thank you Geri!!

I was waiting there for 20 minutes, even went up to a lady that was in the kitchen area sitting down so she can call someone to help me in the cabinet area and nobody came. I took a couple of steps forward and saw Lauren from flooring section and took time out to help me and Checked me out i’m very thankful to her. If not, I will still be waiting for someone to come up and help thank you Lauren. You’re the best thing Home Depot has sincerely the lady with the cabinet.

Horrible customer service. Bought a chainsaw to use in my yard and shortly after I began using the chain came right off. Once I had the time to return the item (which was still within the return policy window) I was told since it was opened I couldn’t return (which is a complete lie since I’ve bought other items and opened to realized it was the wrong item from this store before and it was no problem). The customer rep was not listening as to why it was a defective item regardless of it being used or not, and was very unprofessional considering she had her name tag flipped so that she couldn’t be identified. Manager Steve came over and said the same thing that since it’s opened and used it can’t be returned. I wasn’t even looking to get my money I was looking to receive store credit on another purchase for another project I’m doing around my house. I’ll look to take my business to Lowe’s permanently from this experience

So I made this review last week about this dirty parking lot. Corporate responds with some generic BS and does nothing to follow up. Looks like someone attempted to clean up and did not finish the job. The Manager should be held accountable. Corporate should be investigated what happened with this situation. See the problem is the store Manager is not looking or handling the reviews themselves. It is some HR nerd in a cubicle in the middle of nowhere. This person only responds to bad reviews and not positive ones. Reputation Management is a big thing to google, SEO and most companies. Get it together.

Unfortunately, this is one of the worst Home Depots in Staten Island. The issue is with the staff not the brand of the availability of items for sale. The staff will not help you no matter what happens. Especially the African America staff be it a cashier or an associate. They would just give any excuse to get rid of you as soon as possible and start chatting with each other or just use their mobile devices. I wonder what the Branch Manager is doing! The Home Depot is a great brand and has been serving people for a very long time. There are much better Home Depot outlets in different parts of the country. But this is the worst!
