Customer Reviews
The Home Depot has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 based on over 1287 reviews on Google
I had a horrible experience the coffee is always empty. The safety paint is over $60 a gallon, Employees stock me to the restroom where the manager lurks outside of acting like he’s on his phone. I left my truck in the parking lot and my tire got slashed and if I don’t shave before I walk into their store, they treat me like a bum. Most older ladies shopping at this location tend to ask me for help as if they can’t find someone to help them. Not to mention the commercial parking lot that they try to say I can’t park in overnight with bogus signs with no CVC code written on them. I have already spoken with the police and they have told me that it is a commercial parking lot and that I am able to sleep in it with my truck just like any other journeyman or truck driver is able to. This Home Depot plays games with peoples livelihood all for the sake of just being jokers they will call the police on you and have your vehicle towed if you try to sleep in this parking lot. Most of the time I cover my license plate because they come out with a pad of paper on a clipboard and start Writing license plate numbers down of the people that are sleeping in the parking lot. How would you like to go set 500 feet of tile, go pass out in the Home Depot parking lot only to wake up and see someone jotting your license plate down like your some freak or should I have just driven all the way back to Sacramento and crashed on the highway? My name is Nicholas Crowley.
In this Huntington Beach HD store there is an omnipresent coach and wonderful person helping the employees and the customers. Her name is Diana. She is a pure intelligence, and as good for my local Home Depot Store as Siri is for my own iPhone. I wish Home Depot Organisation implements Diana as a concept to every each of their’s stores.
We purchased an air conditioning unit from this Home Depot. The unit was defective and did not work properly. When we went back to return it expecting a full return and good customer service., we were confronted by Joe, apparently the head manager at the time, who said that there was a new seven day return window for this, and several other esoteric items in the store. This is something we would never know about and just apparently got instituted a couple months ago. We were not told us or sign anything about this when we purchase the item. We were literally only a couple hours after this new seven day return policy. It was day 8 in the morning, so clearly we were not trying to cause any problem or take advantage of the system. Even so Joe, the manager refused to provide customer service to us, and he refused to provide a refund. He told us that his "computer" would not let him provide the refund, which is a common blocking tactic that many businesses use that is, of course, not true. All managers would have the ability to override a computer system, especially in such a close call case as in this one. I am outraged by this lack of customer Service. I personally own a business. I would never treat my customers like this. I can understand if I was two or three weeks or months past the deadline, but just being a couple hours definitely warrants a grace period. I will definitely be taking my business to Lowe’s and other home-improvement stores due to this complete lack of concern, and customer service reasonableness for the customer, and hold Joe the manager responsible for making the decision to put customer service as the last priority.
Usually a frequent and easy experience this site has declined severely in the last couple years. Difficult to shop in, stock everywhere blocking aisles and making movement difficult. Impossible for 2 carts to pass in most aisles due to extra stock options, staged pick up merchandise, and employee stocking carts left in the middle of aisles unattended. Took a few hundreds of dollars business elsewhere due to multiple aisles being blocked off for forklift stocking during prime time on Saturday for greater than 20 minutes. Tried to leave this message for Home Depot but apparently they don’t want to know.
Well, I reluctantly go to this place almost every single day. I would recommend that you go to Home Depot late at night right before they close. It’s empty. There are no lines and you’ll get the best customer service. Do not go in the morning. Absolutely never never never never never that’s when all the contractors and handyman are there and it’s a zoo
This Home Depot location in Huntington Beach still has a pretty good selection but there seems to be less knowledgeable people available for helping find items than there used to be. If you need assistance you may have to wait quite a while. There's plenty of friendly people available at checkout if you want and even returns are usually pretty quick and easy.
Well organize and tidy, staff are super friendly and very helpful. Shop cats are a huge bonus. Got everything we needed for our home bathroom renovation with ease. Big thank you to Hunter who helped us find the last few pieces we needed.
