U-Haul at Oddie Blvd

Reserved and rented a 5' x 8' enclosed trailer. Worked with Samuel and Jessie, who were both wonderful. The hitch ball on my pickup sits up very high to accommodate the hitch on my travel trailer, so it had to be lowered so that the trailer is more level. They both worked diligently to lower it (it took a bit of work). They were both very helpful and courteous and Samuel said that he would be able to re-adjust it back to the original level when I return. I recommend them both wholeheartedly!

1.30.24: Called earlier in the week to schedule my u-haul rental at this location. They were helpful, communicative, and prompt during the entire scheduling process. I had also ordered a car dolly as well, however, there wasn't one available for the requested pickup date. Customer service was awesome and offered a full size auto trailer for the price of the car dolly that wasn't available. But the only catch was, I had to pick up the trailer at a different U-Haul location. I didn't mind since I needed the trailer and it was really appreciative and helped to save a lot of money. Also I wasn't aware you could rent moving blankets as opposed to buying them and that saved me a ton of money as well. With how busy it was, the employees handled it great and quickly worked through each customer's rental.

*WOMEN BEWARE* rather than pay attention and explain the contract at all, Charlie the owner decided it would be better to make my wife uncomfortable by flirting, staring at her chest and back side, and generally being creepy. Unfortunate because that has been my regular U-Haul forever.

This was leaps and bounds a better experience than my previous one at his location. The previous occasion, a tall, Caucasian male (with many tattoos), had me back up the uhual around the back to a different parking lot and jump the curb. This was all because he did not want to transport the trailer himself. This time around the, the uhuals were neatly parked and there was ample space to maneuver in the parking lot. The new assistant manager at this location has really turned this location around. Great job!

This Uhaul place cancelled my trailer reservation without my consent. They either gave my trailer to someone else, or never had it. They didn't communicate to me anything until I showed up to pick it up. Their staff wasn't helpful or friendly. They just pointed on their screen saying it was cancelled as I pointed on mine saying it was not. Horrible Uhaul experience.

I had so much trouble with my reservation. I originally booked at SILVERADA , then the location got changed to Rock. I called to change it back to SILVERADA only for them to switch it all the way to the location in South Meadows the morning of that is 20 minutes away. Not only did I lose an hour of the 6 I originally reserved but I also had to pay for all that extra mileage when the original reservation was 3 minutes from my house. So upsetting.

DON'T EVEN BOTHER! I made an online reservation for a truck, paid the full amount including an unexpected $20 balance I was never previously notified about, and showed up a little late due to a family emergency. Despite all that, U-Haul gave my reserved truck away to someone who had just walked in. No call, no warning, no courtesy. I was flagged in their system with zero notification, and their system still let me make a reservation and take my money. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. If your system allows customers to book and pay, then you should honor that reservation. I will never rely on U-Haul again after this. ---
