I’ve had an issue with my Central Air system and my old installer is no longer in business. I had a friend recommend Whalen & Ives. I am completely satisfied with their services. Prompt, Knowledgeable, Courteous and Professional !! Not easy qualities to find these days. They handled my issue and have been more than fair with their rates. If you’re having an issue just give these guys a call. Thanks guys for keeping us cool!!

Our central air conditioner broke while we were away on vacation, and when we arrived, the heat in the house was unforgiving. The air conditioner unit had a faulty control board that needed to be replaced, and the fan was no longer operational. Whalen & Ives were recommended by friends of the family, so we tried them out for the first time. And we can definitely say that the first impression was beyond favorable. There were no surprises with the price either, and the service was done swiftly.

Absolutely NO integrity. Was a happy customer for both my businesses and home for many years until now. Had our rooftop unit replaced. Their employee ordered the wrong size crane for the job (we had the unit replaced from the exact same spot behind our bldg before), so they had to stop work and send the right crane the following day. They expected us to pay for their mistake, and had their attorney contact us. NO talking to them. NO compromising. I was willing to split the bill. Apparently they don't care about doing the right thing, or keeping a good customer.

Had my boiler fail last week and had no heat or hot water and a pending freeze coming. Whalen and Ives were able to remove and replace boiler and got my 6 zones up and running within a day and half. Heat, hot water all working great before the cold blast. Excellent work, top notch technicians and great installation.

Worst service ever and unsafe to use this company!!! I did heating and air conditioning replacement from Whalen & Ives late July. Then there were water leak twice from my roof due to heating replacement. Also, inspection from my town failed as they did not follow up the basic instruction clearly written in the pipe to avoid fire risk of my house. I had to try to obtain inspection and my town communicated with Whalen & Ives regarding passing the instruction. But they did not communicated with me at all.

My AC has been serviced by Whalen and Ives for over 20 years and have had nothing but excellent experience with their products they sell and the maintenance they perform. I recently decided to have a mini-split AC unit added to my home to maximize areas of my home cooling. Chris C, Sales, was tremendous guiding us through the design and recommendations and all necessary paperwork. The Installation team was fabulous and the install went seamlessly! They were timely efficient and left the home impeccably clean. Finally we also had our primary A/C serviced on the day of the mini-split install so we are ready for the Summer ! Very grateful to Scott Ives and Dave Whalen, and the team for this excellent experience!

Just a quick update. This afternoon my AC stopped working and Tina answered the phone. Within 30 minutes Bob came to look at the AC Unit and found a loose wire connection to the air handler in the attic. Within 20 minutes the AC was back working. I cannot recommend this Company enough for quick and professional service !!! I have been using this company for several years now and I am very happy with their service. Chris O. came to do an annual check up of my AC unit and was extremely professional and thorough. They never try to sell you anything that is not needed like some huge companies do !!
