Turkish Coffee Lady

Such a charming Turkish cafe with the best baklava and coffee! Try the mix of traditional Turkish coffee with pistachio if you want less strong flavor - it’s just amazing, so much more delicate and smooth! The atmosphere of the place is super charming and authentic. And we loved the girls who are working there, they’re super friendly and hospitable, especially Gul ! We will be back very soon!

Such a cozy, beautiful place! Love the hot apple tea, it’s fantastic! Baklava is wonderful. Thanks to the lovely lady who served the food and was taking care of the customers - she’s great! I’ll definitely come back:)

This is a small, cozy Turkish café tucked in Old Town Alexandria — the kind of place that feels warm and authentic as soon as you walk in. It was quite full when I arrived, which was a good sign. I ordered lentil soup (which came with bread) to eat in, and a large Turkish tea to go. The food itself was delicious and comforting, and the Turkish tea was fragrant and strong — just as it should be. However, the service was a bit confusing. Despite there not being many people, my order took a while, and I noticed others who came after me getting their food first. When I asked, they quickly brought out my order, though the tea came in a cup instead of a to-go container. Later, when I went to order another tea for takeaway, I explained what had happened earlier. The cashier kindly offered to make one without charging me, but then there seemed to be some miscommunication among the staff — I could see them trying to sort it out. Eventually, I did get my tea, and I appreciated their effort to make things right. Overall, it’s a charming place with genuinely good food and tea, but the service could be a little smoother. I’d come back again, hopefully on a less hectic day.

This place reminds me of my country Iran. The staff are so friendly and polite. You can drink the real taste of Turkish coffee there. On top of that, you can try Turkish and Middle Eastern desserts. Coffee tastes so different here❤️.

Amazing and super cozy place! The owner is a very nice lady who made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Unique art is displayed throughout the café, and we had the pleasure of meeting the artist himself — his works are truly one of a kind, featuring tiny paintings on coffee beans, butterfly wings, and more! Highly recommend stopping by for some delicious Turkish tea or coffee and sweets when in Alexandria!

Service was great, took the time to explain all the different drinks and desserts. Coffee was very good as well, they came out and showed us how to properly drink and eat together. Atmosphere was very nice, relaxing, clean, organized. Recommend tasting all the baklavas, very sweet and tasty.
