Very friendly staff, they have a wide variety of plants and the plants are healthy and look happy. Enjoyed walking around and got assistance from the staff to locate the plants I was looking for. The houseplant varieties are good too. Picked few gourmet blend veggie seeds, looking forward to plant the seeds and see them grow. During checkout was told can return the plant anytime, will have to retain the receipt. While I don’t intend to, sure the plants will grow well in my place too.

Great selection of plants. Customer service is always spot on. The manager is very knowledgeable and close with his employees. Would recommend this nursery.

This nursery is all about love for plants! From the cheerful orange and yellow watering cans hanging from the ceiling to the dramatic and moody displays everywhere, this place definitely helps to reduce stress. The plants on sale are healthy and very affordable as are the items of decor and growth boosters. I bought a tiny pot of shamrock which looked really lush and a very pretty Pink Panther. The staff is friendly and well-informed. I have to mention the wall of whimsical employee art on display which makes the nursery stand out from other cookie-cutter ones. I definitely see myself visiting this rainbow of a place regularly!

Peaceful friendly place has been a lifesaver during the pandemic. Just walking among the plants is a healing experience. Every plant we’ve purchased from here (from trees to flowers to vegetable starts and strawberries) has done very well. A globe artichoke we bought in a 5 gallon pot turned into a giant monster that produced 30+ artichokes the following season. Well staffed by friendly and helpful people who seem happy whenever we see them.

Please don’t hire people as cashiers who are grumpy, what a terrible experience this afternoon ( have been a customer for 10+ years. ) I asked I need soil and this old lady called Lin ( I think ) at the cashier says I need to pay first and collect it , hold on can you tell me what options I have before you ask me to pay ? Second while paying I had a question but the same lady will not answer any questions or talk to you while she is scanning because apparently she can only do one task at a time. Last I asked her I need fertilizer for my indoor plants and told her if I could pick it up quickly as there was no one behind me , guess what she says " I need to go for lunch please pay for this and come back again" Thanks Summer winds there is always a Home Depot and Amazon. Remember I was a Customer at your store in Wolfe and El Camino as well as the one in Santa Clara both of which closed, the day is not far where the Cupertino store will be a thing of the past. I don’t see a reason to support such business if the attitude is as cold as a Home Depot Date and time of visit : 16Aug between 11:45-12:30

We stopped here on Sat morning and bought three outdoor plants. It’s relatively cheap than the other one nearby but the quality is in par. The stuff are friendly and the cat is adorable. Highly recommend this nursery place.

We try to support Yamagami, a local biz, and come to Summer Winds when they don't have something. The prices are usually lower than Yamagami. The selection is pretty good - flowers, seeds, herbs and vegetables. The nursery is clean, everything is in great shape. There are plenty of staff, and they are very helpful. They will even load the hravy bags of soil into your car - and cover your trunk in plastic protection before they put the soil in.
