Terpening Terrace

It's absolutely beautiful. Outside it's fun to look at inside it's amazing nothing but good positive energy and would absolutely recommend this retirement community! Super friendly staff! What else can I say? Oh the food is also beyond delicious from surf and turf to daily specials all day! So it's got my 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Seven months at Terpening Terrace has proved to be what it offered when searching. Independent living with many appreciated perks and services, transportation, or underground parking as needed, meals, exercise facilities, free Wi-Fi, a salon, planned community activities of area interest, a computerized office for use by residents and guests, extra kitchens on every floor, a library, housekeeping and maintenance…the local st goes on. Staff and management are compassionate and skilled personnel.

My grandma has been living here for years. Although the food is not very good/consistent the staff is extremely friendly. I love knowing that she is safe and sound here. She really enjoys the outings and special classes like crafts! Her apartment is very nice and maintenance does a great job taking care of her little needs.

My mother just moved there. I am so impressed with how nice and efficiently run it is. The courtyard is lovely. The food is good and staff is friendly and accommodating. Sue at the front desk has been wonderful in answering our questions. A top notch place!

I drove a neighbor to have dinner with her Grandmother at Terpening Terrace last week and what I thought would be a typical "old folks home" was anything but that. It is closer to a four or five star resort, It reminded me of Murrieta Hot Springs Health Resort in Southern California where I had been Head Vegetarian Chef in the late '70's. Terpening Terrace is, from what I could see, flawless. Accomodations are the equivalent of a beautifully designed and elegantly furnished luxury apartment. The dining facilities are five star, as is the menu, and the Chicken Pot Pie may be better than my own (I'm no longer vegetarian, currently a Gourmet Chef for a party of one). The staff is well trained and just plain nice. Twice they stopped and chatted with their resident, and the Granddaughter and myself, her guests. One of the staff shares an interest in Classical Violin with the Grandmother, and they practice together occasionally. The dear Lady was positively beaming, being treated like a Queen by these well mannered and very likable staff and waitpersons. On a scale of one to five stars, I'm giving Terpening Terrace a Six.
