Island Beach Resort

We arrived at this place after a long trip across the United States. We thought that when we got here, we would be able to rest and enjoy a quiet, relaxing weekend. When we entered the room we found ants in the kitchen, hair on the bed sheets. Someone came and replaced all the sheets. Later on, when we tried to open the door to the yard, it wouldn’t open at all. The other door did open, but only after pushing very hard. This morning, someone was hammering outside and it was very noisy—and again around noon there was construction noise. The place itself is very beautiful, but we really don’t feel comfortable here. The noise and the issues definitely prevent us from having the quiet weekend we were hoping for. It is very noisy here because of work being done in the room upstairs as well as outside. It is extremely unpleasant and disappointing to pay so much money, expect a quiet and peaceful weekend, and instead arrive to such a noisy room—especially during rest hours.

Very nice resort featuring daily, weekly or monthly rates. Very cool Shuckers restaurant with great selection of food and bar serving tropical drinks. Quaint gift shop on premises with nice selection of beachy clothes, jewelry, stickers, sea shell art, crystal dangles, cute signs and more. A must visit if you are staying on the beach, shopping or eating out.

We love Island Beach Resort - it is our serenity get away. We have been coming every July for the past 3 years with an extra added trip this past March. We just got home from our eight day stay and are already looking forward to going back. The rooms are clean comfortable and provide needed amenities to make it feel like home. Doreen at the front desk is welcoming helpful and accommodating. Cynthia is always there to help make trip comfortable and pleasurable. Its nice to stay somewhere where staff will willingly go above and beyond for your needs with a smile on their faces. Grounds are well maintained restaurant is amazing and location is out of this world. Picture perfect views!!!! Cant wait to return.

We absolutely loved our stay! The condo was clean and everything we needed was provided. We had an issue with the tv remotes when we got there and when we went to the staff about it, one of the staff members, Destiny, personally came to our condo and worked to resolve the issue immediately.

We have been coming here for 3 years now. Perfect girls getaway! Doreen helped us when we accidentally locked our keys in the car, and allowed for a late checkout with no hassle while we waited for the locksmith. Wonderful service at the restaurant on site and you can go back and forth from resort to the beach as well as the pool. Highly recommend!

Great location and amenities for the price. Everyone we came in contact with were so helpful and pleasant. Our room was clean and well kept! My husband and I had a nice relaxing and quiet weekend away!

We had a nice stay at the Island Beach Resort. Judy helped us get booked and checked in. She was great, thank you! we stayed in 105/107. Pool/ beach were nice. I love the garden... Randy you are doing an awesome job. We will be back soon.
