Avoid Champion Windows at all costs. I paid over $60,000 for a sunroom addition, and the experience has been awful. The concrete was poured crooked, electrical work was unplanned and unsightly. I had to ask to have it redone and the project failed the city inspection because Champion never scheduled the electrical portion. The gutter literally fell off my house, and the first storm flooded the room from every seam and corner. Their "fix" was to slap epoxy on the roof, leaving it ugly and full of debris. Despite multiple requests, Champion refused to fix or cover the roof mess they created. Save yourself the stress—find another company.
One of the worst services that I am still experiencing! For starters, the salesman who came to my place to get a contract started, stated that we would get the trimming included in our services because of the amount of money we would be spending. He also stated that he would be writing this down to make sure it would be in the contract. Turns out that it was not true. When the day came for the windows to be installed the workers themselves stated that the trimming was not in the contract and that we would have to be doing that ourselves or we can pay them even more to get it done, which is going against what the salesman has told us. Second, one of the windows came broken and we were told that they would get another window ordered to replace the broken one. That was 6 months ago!!! A couple of days ago, I was just told that they just NOW ordered the window. The amount of money spent was not worth the service that I received. I would not ever recommend this place to anyone.
I love my new windows. They are clear and clean. The crew was extremely polite and to care not to damage anything. I love the new door as well. Thank you for an excellent job. The attached picture is in my kitchen. I’m so glad Ravi suggested the sliding window. It really opened the kitchen. My plants are going to love it.
I had Champion windows in another house and never had any issues. When I purchased windows for my new home, I found that several windows had broken latches or were drilled incorrectly. Some even had stripped screws. They came from the factory with some very obvious defects, yet they were more expensive than ever. I refused to make the last payment until all of the issues were repaired or replaced. They have since corrected everything on the windows. The installers were okay but one of them dropped a hammer from a high window. It damaged the paper blinds on the front door but I wasn’t too worried about that. I found out later that the hammer also made a considerable hole in the flooring. Nothing was ever mentioned about the damage and they tried to cover it up by putting caulk in it. They never bothered to make me aware of it. Very unprofessional!
I would love to have given Champion Windows 5 stars but they have quality control issues that need to be addressed. It took 5 months from the time we signed our contract to the completion of our windows being installed mostly due to miss measurements and missing parts. Orders were not properly checked before they left the factory in Ohio and then they were not checked properly before the installers picked the order up. I would, however, like give 5+++ stars to Michele Miller who eventually stepped in and helped to correct and push things along in addition to keeping communications open. Also, 5+++ stars to Aaryn Vesperman and Jim Milton for being the best and most knowledgeable installers I've ever met. In spite of the heat, they kept great attitudes and a great sense of humor. I hope that Champion Windows will get their quality control issues worked out. I do love my windows now that they are finally in.
Our Champion Rep Ravi Roopnarine, has been very professional and thoughtful throughout this entire process. He is energetic and willing to go the extra mile. I was concerned about how we were going to afford all the work we needed done. He was positive and took time to make it happen. Being able to get all this work done will take a huge burden off my husband and I. We look forward to working with Ravi & Champion again in the future. Thanks so much Ravi.
Very professional from the sales representative to installers and everyone in between. I love my windows. Just be aware that there will be loss of window seal area, which I expected because of the thickness and quality of the windows. No complaints whatsoever!
