I am very happy that I found this KOA. The hosts/day managers are wonderful!!! Everything was nice and clean and I enjoyed the ice cream social. My big "puppy " liked the dog park. After being on the road , it was nice to have a good clean shower. I am new to RVing and could not get the hose unhooked....he was very helpful to get it done for me. Its on my favorite list now

What a great stop. Very friendly and helpful! The sites are pull thru with plenty of concrete sites. Full hook up and room between site. They are working hard to keep improving this KOA. It has a small store and a great ice cream parlor! They decorated for Halloween and everyone that works there is SO FRIENDLY! We would tell everyone to stay and we will return.

NOW i read the reviews, after the fact. I’d have to agree with all the negative ones…website wasn’t working well so we called in to make a reservation. We were told we had the last site available for a 38’ coach and tow (not true when we got there!) but that the sewage part of the full hookup package wasn’t working…dont even try it as you’ll be wearing sewage, that backed up. We only needed a night stay and are self contained so, we agreed. Upon checking in, i half jokingly said, so we got a discounted rate because the sewage isnt working. The older lady snapped "no hon, in the morning we can direct you to another site for you to hook up to and get rid of your grey/black tanks (one that doesn’t accommodate our size of a unit, never mind the nuisance of having to go to another site). AND, dont be parking on the grass. Okay…..Whatever….the older gentleman was nice enough, we usually unhitch the car and I drive ahead to make sure we’d fit and nothing unexpected is there that we’d get stuck, but he said, NOPE, he’s (pointing to my husband) actually going to follow me and then YOU will follow him. You will park behind him. Okay……we slid in, i parked sideways behind the coach (so much for website saying really large site). There was no grass to speak of. Whatever, we were just there for a night and thankful for a spot. Well, we were a rock throw from the I 430! So noisey, we could see traffic from out spot. so ask to be put on the other side of the park where at least the dump trucks front he gravel pit stop at a decent time lol. I agree that the place looked tired, the full timers neglect their units. The Tiffan next to us, very small spots btw had a cone over his sewage too? Anyways, we were glad for a stop over, but I agree, this is not KOA expectations in our opinion. We travelled all across Canada, now the USA, and this has got to be the worse one along with the only one on PEI. Glad we didnt get yelled at connecting our vehicle as others had…there’s no other safe spot to do this except just before leaving the park, the road just beyond the park has no shoulders, very unsafe.

Looking rundown in several areas. If allowing fulltimers at least make them clean up their assigned sites and maintain their RV's in good condition. Traffic from 430 is loud but that can't be helped and we still slept. Front of building was neat and clean. Behind building not so. Staff seemed nice but didn'tappear to do much work outside to maintain the KOA. Rakes can be bought just about anywhere to better maintain sites. Restrooms were clean. Laundry room looked like it was replacing some washing machines. Washers and dryers were clean. The run down part is from all the fulltimers there. Those sites were poorly maintained with some RV's exteriors dirty with awnings falling apart. Some sites had a bunch of junk laying around. Grass was high in one corner with a couple of brokedown/rundown trailers, or so they appeared. Pride in ownership goes a long way. Hope they work at cleaning it up and the fulltimers sites to keep it from looking rundown.

This KOA is neglected. It could be such a darling park. The camper utilities and outdoor area around your own site is dangerous. Corporate needs to step in immediately! We will NOT return, until we see better ratings. ( I should have checked them before ever booking there. Lesson learned. )

The facilities are in poor condition. The water faucet and electrical boxes need repairs. We didn't care for the Halloween decorations. We saw children that were scared and wanted to get away from the items. One child was staring to cry because the decoration was talking in an evil voice. All holiday decorations should be kid friendly. The memories should be pleasant ones.
