USAA

5.6

USAA maintains a significant presence in Phoenix, Arizona, offering a range of financial services and insurance products, primarily geared towards members of the U.S. military community and their families. The Phoenix location serves as a key regional hub, providing access to banking, investment, and property & casualty insurance services.

While historically known for a commitment to member service, recent experiences suggest a need for reevaluation of operational effectiveness. Members seeking personalized attention and efficient resolution of inquiries may find current processes less responsive than previously anticipated, impacting the overall accessibility and requiring a heightened focus on employee training and process optimization.

After 19 years as a member of USAA, I'm leaving. USAA was once the little bank that could to the big bank that can't. We found auto insurance cheaper with another company, and better banking rates from savings, CDs and loan rates with a local bank. As USAA is proud of their customer service, it really isn't anything special. With my new bank, I can go in and talk to someone face to face, and they man their phones 24/7.

Confirming this review is for the USAA location at Norterra, and this is for the front desk security female with the personality of someone that hates everyone around her. We have had numerous encounters with you, unfortunately for us, and each one progressively gets worse. You treat people like they are beneath you. You are condescending, vocal, standoffish, unhelpful, unfriendly, uncompassionate, and rude. For a family to be visiting their family member who WORKS FOR USAA and be treated like garbage is not only disappointing for us, it’s embarrassing for you. For a company that prides themselves on being "elite" and "prestigious," your Security woman needs to be removed or you can continue losing customers. Our family of five closed our USAA accounts due to your horrible basic treatment and lack of public decency. If you care to look into it, look at your employee list and the front desk security woman. She was progressively worse over numerous occasions. Up to you whether you continue letting her treat people like they are a bother and inconvenience for existing. We also had the misfortune of watching her treat other people the same way, to include other visitors, employees, families, etc. Again, look into it, or don’t. Your call. We’ll never be back as customers because of her — we will take our veteran-filled family anywhere but here.

I am a 100% disabled Vet in my late 60’s who has been with USAA for 10 years. At one time USAA’s customer service was exceptional. Now USAA has joined the ranks of corporations that do not care for us customers. Horrendous experience with their call center. Incompetent, unfriendly, and failures.

What a shame what has become of this company they were the pride military insurance for three decades that I remember. They took interest in treating their veterans correctly. The customer service has gone down more than one can fathom since new ownership took over a couple years ago. I know so many of my military coworkers who have canceled with USAA It’s a shame really

This bank loves to lock me out my account once a week. They have left me stranded multiple times because I can’t access my account to be able to transfer funds over. This is the only bank that’s left me stranded places. Because I can’t access my account and then I have to go through all this jumping crap just to get back into my account.

I have been with USAA for several years now. I called them on two previous occasions and ask them for a written statement on my auto and homeowner policy on both occasions I got nothing you call them and they say they're doing it right then and there and you will have it in a few days well I take it as a. I have no computer and I have no printer I'm also as of the age where I don't do well with computers I'm going to give it one more shot and if I don't get it I'll get back to you and you decide if you want to ensure with USAA

Drove all the way out to this location from East Mesa to speak to someone in person to try and resolve an issue only to find this isn't a USAA office nor is it open to the public. The're main office is in another state. Can't give a negative stars, hence only one star
