Whits Frozen Custard of Port St. Lucie

Every time we go here, the quality is top notch. The outdoor seating areas are pet friendly. Our dog loves Whit's. When friends come into town, this is a treat for them. Likewise, when we want some great custard, this place is the best. Service has always been prompt, courteous, and quick, even when there is a long line. We try the various flavors of the day when we go.

OMGAWD!! First time trying Whits Frozen Custard and it was a 10/10. Got a one scoop of the flavor of the day, churro and a 2 scoop of chocolate and vanilla. Like they say on the Mickey Mouse club, "Hot Diggity dog"!!! It was amazing. Staff were friendly and had good tunes playing on the overhead speakers. Definitely a go to here in Port Saint Lucie.

I moved here about 3 months ago and I’ve been a regular, I’ve probably gone about 10 times to this location, but today we came in about 15 minutes before close and ordered "to go". Brownie blitz, a treasure coast, and a cookie to go for later. $27 dollars later and they couldn’t even bother to fill the cups up, I feel like I got robbed - my first time going here where I had such a feeling. I’m assuming it’s because I either didn’t leave a tip, or that it was close to closing time - regardless, I was ripped off. With a multitude of ice cream parlors in the area, such as Hershey’s, tutti frutti, Rita’s, Culver’s etc. I can say that if this is the new normal that tonight’s visit will be the last.

My husband was stoked about Whit’s having the Christmas tree frozen custard(they got the two scoops size)! I took them here and I got the caramel apple sundae under their specialties menu (size: small). The both were very delicious and creamy! The apple and caramel topping were just like eating an apple pie with vanilla ice cream. The apple pieces were sweet, mini bite size, and they weren’t stingy with the caramel or apples. The Christmas tree custard had actual pieces of the Christmas tree treat in it. The customer service was very informative and patient since we were new customers. We sat at their tables outside which is nice too! I’d definitely come back to have their frozen custard again.

Whits had the best frozen custard in town. It's incredibly creamy. They have a special flavor every day and two special flavors on the weekend. The staff is great and friendly. It's always clean. They have slush puppies which brings me back to my little league days. There is also a nice area outside to sit.

We stopped in today to get ice cream not knowing they were closed, the lights were on, the girl was standing at the counter, the open sign was on and the doors were unlocked, all things that tell people that the business is open. When I walk in the girls working just start looking at us and at each other like we are insane for walking in, while not even saying a word. I understand if you guys are closed and haven’t turned off the sign yet and all but the reactions of the workers acting like WE are the crazy ones for just walking in is ridiculous. Literally no customer service skills at all, a simple "Hello, sorry we are closed for the night" would have worked but instead we got treated like circus clowns for not magically knowing they were closed even though the open sign was on.

Best ice cream here. They have a huge selection of flavors and the place is always clean and nice. Staff was great I love the peanut butter its my favorite
