I was super excited when I discovered that my favorite Chicago restaurant opened its sister location here in Sunnyvale and I’ve already been back a couple of times. The space itself is gorgeous! Filled with plants, warm lighting, and a vibrant, modern feel. My favorite dishes so far are the crispy quinoa + tuna poke salad. I love the crispy quinoa so much that I’m seriously tempted to learn how to make it myself (it’s that good). I also tried several other dishes: the empanadas, scones, matcha tres leches, and the potato crepe (available only during weekend brunch) that one was deliciously crispy and full of flavor. That said, I will note that the portions tend to be on the smaller side, so if you’re going with a group or want to leave feeling truly full, it’s good to plan for multiple dishes. I will definitely come back again!

Chic! Has the style of a big city but the space of the suburbs. Feels like it's straight out of the pages of a travel magazine. Service was top notch, as well as warm and friendly. Someone in our party was vegetarian and the staff took extra measures to make them feel comfortable: vegan menu, separate utensils, etc. Flavors were bold and delicious. It was a trip around the world with hints of Southeast Asian sweetness, spice and acidity mixed into Mexican plates or Californian salads. We got all three desserts and honestly I liked them even more than the main dishes!! Valet only parking was free for the restaurant.

Valley Goat was on my list of places to try but this trip (on a Sunday morning) was more of a happy accident. However unplanned, we were able to be seated for lunch at the bar where full service was still offered. Hostess let us know that the place is busy (all outdoor seating was reserved) despite being relatively new. So I recommend booking ahead if you can! The food was phenomenal and feels like the tastes were really well thought out. I had the Yolk-onomiyaki and the Yucatan Pork Belly with Tomatoes. Both felt "crafted" with Asian and Mexican flavors respectively! The menu was small but overall looks really delicious and I’d be interested to try more next time but was very happy with the two I did - the other items, although just as delicious, didn’t seem as unique as these and I could maybe find similar ones elsewhere. The atmosphere seems like it would really pull people in. The colors, plants, decor, music were a really lovely patio vibe. The Treehouse resort area it is located in general was also fun to walk around!

Excellent job Mary-Anne and Manny, thank your incredible team for making it a special night for us! Keep up the good work! Reservations are highly recommended! This place is amazing as well as their food, drinks, ambiance, and people. Yall be nice and patient to the staff, ok? Great vibes for date night too, picturesque campus both day and night! Like our Phones their menu is updated, except seasonally! They had blueberry pancakes for brunch but is now apple! This time we came for dinner and had their pork shank, shrimp salad, goat empadadas, spicy handroll dip and avocado dip with chips. I wish all their sauces came in a bigger container- I could drink the entire thing (it's THAT good)! For the greens we had their wood-fired sprouted cauliflower, sautéed green beans with cashews. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back to try more of their seasonal items! Stay blessed Valley G.O.A.T (truly Greatest Of All Time! )

Amazing experience!! Great ambiance with lots of live plants and a living wall of primarily pothos in the waiting area. Great service. We loved Fernando's attentiveness and exceptional service. The menu changes frequently. Today we dined on Goat Empanadas, Veggie Empanadas, Crispy Quinoa Tuna Poke Salad, Yucatan Pork Belly & Tomato, Yolk-Onomiyaki, House Maple Sausage, Brunch Potatoes, and Cinnabiscuit. Everything was awesome, but my favorite was the Quinoa. The light popping in your mouth, combined with the creaminess of the avocado makes it amazing! All of the dishes were an exploration of wonderful textures and amazing flavors. Highly recommended!!!

Made a reservation for 5:30 on Sunday and was seated promptly on arrival. My friends and I (party of 3) ordered the spicy handroll, disco fries, and sticky pork shank. All 3 were delicious! The pork shank was sooo tender, and the meat fell right off the bone. This was plenty of food for the 3 of us. I wish the disco fries came out hot, but they were very crispy and the flavor was good. The restaurant itself is beautiful - great for a special dinner out.
