Review of Mitchell Heating and Cooling – Precision Tune-Up & Professional Cleaning I paid $144.79 for Mitchell Heating and Cooling to perform a Precision Tune-Up and Professional Cleaning of my two-year-old package HVAC unit while I was out of town. Unfortunately, upon returning home and inspecting the unit, it was clear that the work I paid for was not done to any reasonable standard. The photos I took after their visit speak for themselves: Dirty coils – Both the evaporator and condenser coils remain covered in dust, debris, and buildup. There’s no sign they were cleaned. Spider webs throughout – Inside the unit, cobwebs are everywhere, showing a lack of even basic cleaning effort. Black mold on blower unit – Most concerning, there is visible black mold on the blower assembly. The technician did not even mention this, despite it being a serious health concern and a clear sign of an underlying moisture or maintenance issue that needs immediate attention. For a service advertised as a "professional cleaning," what I found is unacceptable. It appears that, at best, the work was rushed or incomplete, and at worst, not performed at all. Given my experience, I cannot recommend Mitchell Heating and Cooling for HVAC cleaning or maintenance. I would strongly advise homeowners to look elsewhere for a company that actually delivers the service promised and communicates critical issues to their customers.

Brandon did a great job servicing our unit today. He was able to check one of our safety switches that a previous tech recommended to change out. Turned out that it was actually working just fine and the previous tech misdiagnosed an issue. He saved us money today and I very much appreciate the thorough job he did. He was also on time. Job well done.

They were recommended to me and I am glad we made the change, the previous services was not cleaning the outside unit, this saved us having to replace it too soon. Service contract slightly less in fee than the previous provider. Very happy!!

Our technician, Luis, was very knowledgeable. He was also kind & polite. He explained everything very thoroughly & answered all of my questions. He provided several options to fix our HVAC problem, along w/ offering his professional recommendations for next steps. Overall a great experience for a new customer! I will continue to use Mitchell's Heating & Cooling in the future, & will recommend them to friends & family.

Highly recommend this company - we scheduled a visit with Mitchell heating and cooling cause our HVAC system randomly went out. We were able to have someone out within 24hrs of calling (the guy who called to schedule was extremely helpful during this process and our technician (Jared) was extremely pleasant, professional and informative during his visit. The company even sent a text prior to the visit with his education/experience and also included his name and a photo so we knew who to be looking for - I love this, as it shows they prioritize safety for their customers! Our HVAC was fixed quickly and was very affordable, we were so nervous to get stuck with a CRAZY large bill. Thank you for your help, we appreciate the quick and affordable service and will definitely be repeat customers if needed.
