I would like to Thank Jon, Georgie and Luz the staff members at A 1 Storage on Hollister in the South Bay area. Moving from Texas to San Diego was a rude awakening when we had to get a storage unit. We are very pleased with the location, the cleanliness of the grounds and security on site. The staff was friendly professional, and Jon was very attentive in assisting us to our needs in choosing the right unit. It was a great and happy experience . Thank you A-1 Self Storage for having a great team!

They raise the rent in 2 months so those promo prices wont last. After one year they raised the price 3 times and its a small 5x5 unit. Very clean and new thats the only positive.

My wife and I have 2 units at the 845 Hollister address. Great service all around. Jon has been especially helpful.

Great customer service. If you need a Storage The Unit, they have all sizes and availability most of the time. Whatever is your budget? There’s always something for you. Make sure to ask for Suyumy or Luz . There are supplies for all your movie needs like wrapping, locks, tape, boxes, etc. Business office hours are from 9 to 5, and access hours from 6 AM to 10 PM. every day. Very clean and safe facilities. They have a system that you can go in with your cell phone. 24 hours surveillance.

One of the safest storage places I've seen. Modern security measures including special locks that can't be cut, cameras everywhere, high fences, great hours. Feel very secure storing my stuff here.

"Georgie" the assistant manager from what I’ve been told is very rude. Needs to work on her customer service communication skills.

Terrible communication with the manager, extremely hostile, by the way. We had a situation that could have been different with a peaceful conversation, but she became very hostile and escalated things to an exaggerated level that even threatened me and called the police. She is very unprofessional the way she talks to clients.
