Customer Reviews
BJ's Wholesale Club has a rating of 3.7 out of 5 based on over 553 reviews on Google
My experience always really bad. Customer service is disappointed. Management is worst. Nobody can do a simple job right. They make you wait as long as they want. It seems that , they're doing us a favor. What is happening with this store, is going down the hill. I do not recommend to anybody to shop in this store.
Fresh fruits, tires, household items, check! BJ’s has you covered. This particular location has a huge parking lot with tons of carts ready for the customers in the parking lot. Fresh smile and hello greets you as you enter the store. Rows and rows of various items, so you will want to have time to walk up and down each isle so that you don’t miss anything. Staff are professional and helpful and can be located walking the isles to assist with any questions you make. This store is "spotless" in regards cleanliness. I watched a gentleman walk around with a dust rag and broom to ensure everything was clean and presentable to the customer. You maybe a SAMS or Costco person, don’t sleep on BJ’s for the same quality, value that you get at other big box warehouse stores.
This is the worst BJ’s I’ve ever been to! It is so ridiculous in here and I will never acquire a BJ’s membership! First of all the first Customer Service members agent that assisted me could not get into the system because she was locked out the manager put his password on there, preventing her from doing anything! The coworker that was next to her refused to help her after she saw her struggling with the system. She proceeded to continue to take other members in front of me after I had been waiting 10 minutes just for a membership at a register. The original member customer service agent proceeded to call the manager who took his sweet time, coming up to the register, knowing that she did not have access to create any type of membership for. Then we coworker gets frustrated because I’m asking her to help her instead of proceeding to wait for the manager because she has full access to her system. Everyone is looking at me like I’m crazy because I’m asking for them to help each other which they should have known to do! So she finally proceeds to help me and then she can’t repeat anything back that I’m saying! I told her my email three times and then she started saying the system won’t take my email! At this point you’ve got to be kidding me. The manager finally shows up and he proceeds to take the customer that was waiting behind me and still will not help these Customer Service agents that cannot sign me up for a simple membership. The manager is very sarcastic, giving me this half baked, rude, un sincere apology as if again I am wrong for being a little aggravated at this point that I have waited for a membership now almost 30 minutes! The coworker, who finally decided to step in not only tries to print out a card, but my name is still spelled wrong after she had my drivers license in her possession. Needless to say, I walked out without a membership! I do not like my time to be wasted! I have things to do and I am a faithful Costco member! I wanted to try BJ’s just because it’s a little closer to my house but I will drive out of my way to Costco before I ever entertain another BJ’s Wholesale Club again! THIS WAS GHETTO!!
Moved local recently. I used Costco before. Today I bought two pairs of glasses from Ernesto today. Great experience. Happy to have an option for discount where house near me. Meat is great also.
The checkout people are miserable. It seems like mostly the management. Constantly escalating and yelling when it just isn't called for. It's happened to me on several different occasions. Don't expect them to help you at all.... I've had some helpful employees but incredible how awful some of them are here.
While my shopping experience should've been smooth and nice, it was not really the case. In my 2 recent visits to BJs, I'm just shocked on how some costumer concerns are handed. 1st one. I asked one of the ppl who work there if they carry Halal meat. Instead of having a short, nice professional answer, which no we don't. He answer was shrugging his shoulder, fake a smile and say with so much sarcasm. There's no such a halal meat, it's all meat!!! I was sooo offended by such an answer in regards to a religious request of an item. Then, on the 2nd experience, my shopping was quick, self check out great. I come to a line of 10 carts. When reached out to what's called a manager to see if someone else is available to support the one person checking receipts/ carts.( one person upfront, and she takes her time!!!! Nothing wrong with it, but more than 1 is surely needed specially on the weekend) The what's called manager's answer was There's no such the line is backed up. You have no idea what a line means, as I walked out, she was literally yelling and repeating her self.so rude, unprofessional. She's a skinny African American, with braids and glasses. She was on a late afternoon shift, around 6:15ish. I don't think Bjs is worth the experience, mainly due to the lack of costumer service.
