Extra Space Storage

We had the unit for 7 months. First impression was great. Move-In was a breeze, storage space was clean and spotless and customer service was amazing. Moving out was just as easy. I would recommend extra space storage on Baychester road to anyone and they will be my go to if I have to use them again!

The space was clean and smelled amazing. Jorge was very helpful and welcoming. He answered all of my questions He was patient and courteous.

I really enjoy how straight forward this experience was as a first time storage user, Jorje was a big help, he even taught me how to scan QR codes on my phone!

I can say the service was excellent, the showed us where the locker was and he had what I can call a positive attitude.

I am very upset because i arrive to my storage unit at 6:46pm and on the app it states that access for the building ends at 7pm. As I was trying to put my code to go down the elevator, the code pad states that the location is closed at 6:46pm. So I go and verify with the front desk because I only 2 boxes and 2 small bags to unload. They tell me that it’s closed and that the office hours is what is open until 7pm and that the actual storage place closes at 6:45. Which is not what the app says and it is not what the web says. I am very disappointed with this experience because we made it on time. The front desk lady was counting money ready to leave, closed everything early. I drove very far after work just to bring my boxes over there just for her to tell me that i couldn’t go downstairs and access my floor. There was another guy storing the things in the main floor because everything else was open except for the elevators that she closed down early.

STAY AWAY! This location is a disaster. They destroyed everything I left with them. There was water damage, rat poop and black mold in my storage unit. When I asked for my money back for the rent I paid for them to essentially destroy my property, they didn’t even refund me. On top of this, the front desk receptionist told me they had flooding but they didnt even let me know. They also increased rent from $190/month when I made the contract to $288/month, which it seems like they commonly do once they lock in customers.

Crystal showed me so much patience, she’s the best, she was very pleasant and kind. I really enjoyed her conversation and she was very nice and helpful.
