Ecotelligent Homes

My recent experience with Ecotelligent Homes was exceptional. The project started with an energy audit and finished with new insulation in the attic and in the crawl space. Brandon did a great job of explaining the energy audit findings and presenting solutions to the issues. They were explained in easy-to-understand terms and he was able to answer all of the many questions I asked. I committed to most of his recommendations. The implementation went as smooth as expected without any glitches. Ann kept me well informed with clear and timely communications as the project progressed. The post implementation process was also done in a highly professional manner. They made it easy to get a rebate from Consumers Energy and receive Pearl Certification. Overall, Amanda's team did a stellar job from start to finish and I would highly recommend them.

I would give these folks 10 stars, but I could only award 5. Very professional and expert in their field. Great communication and they did everything they promised and more. My questions were fully answered and every concern I had was noted and addressed at installation. They treated our house as if it were their own and the results were astounding. The work was started and finished on-time and as promised. Further, they did all the follow-up legwork to obtain material warranties, rebates and provide tax benefit information for credit at tax time. Do not award your business to the lowest bidder. Award it to a company that will not make you regret your decision. You can trust these folks. They work hard to do what they promise.

Ecotelligent Homes worked with me to resolve drafts and extreme heat in the upstairs bedrooms. They explained every step of the process and answered any question. After following their recommendations and having them perform the work there is a much noticeable improvement in room temperatures. Their staff was polite and professional and all work was done well. They left the house spotless when they finished.

Amanda and team went above and beyond in ensuring that they did the job they had said they would do, at the price at which they said they would do it. They performed robust quality control checks, and detected and fixed imperfections on their own. Our house is more comfortable because of the work they did (e.g., lower temperature difference between first and second floors). When we bought our house, the calculated maximum heat load was ~60,000btu/hr. After all the insulation work we got done (including some with other contractors), it is now <50,000btu/hr.

We noticed our house was having trouble with keeping in heat during the winter and keeping cool in the summer. Ecotelligent Homes was able to identify key issues- turns out it was a much simpler solution than what my husband and I thought! The did a great job with insulation and cleaning up after the job.

Not only was the salesperson, Brandon, very professional in our original sales interaction, but he was honest, upfront with any mistakes or changes, and felt genuinely excited. The insulation team was very friendly, not a single person was rude to me throughout the 2 days, they were willing to answer any questions I had as well. The thing that impressed me the most, besides the amazing job they did, was their customer service. I had some debris laying around from remodeling that I was doing, and a team member offered to take it to their dumpster for me. Also, after the Attic job was completed, I was not home, so the team locked my house up and texted me throughout the entire process to make me comfortable with what was being done. Someone vacuumed my entire house, not just the parts that were walked on by the team, but all the carpet in the house. That was a nice detail. My house was left in BETTER CONDITION than when they arrived. So, A+ job. I'll be honest, they were NOT the cheapest bid that I received. However, they were more professional, appeared to be more knowledgeable, and made me feel more comfortable that the job would be done properly. I'll be sure to recommend Ecotelligent to anyone who is looking for insulation projects in the future.

Attentive, responsive, and results had a noticeable improvement. I still haven’t gotten an electric bill yet but results were noticeable. Would recommend.
