The Home Depot

I have had the worst experiences with this branch, Although I have been shopping at n the Home Depot n other states, for some reason this branch does not stand for the Home Depot lowest standard of customer service. Several occasions since 2022 till now and I have been refraining of giving them a low grade saying it’s individual mistakes but sorry, this branch needs new management and new policies. The on floor employees are spectacularly helpful but the management and upper Bro designers and customer service desk are not up to the company’s expectations.

In a world where customers are expected to self-checkout, talk to an AI operator, and are encouraged shop online rather than in store, it was refreshing to see someone with real, old school concern for a customer. While experiencing an electrical connection problem from a trailer I had just rented, Jacob Anderson came right to the scene. He showed genuine interest in helping us, as if we were long time friends, connecting and reconnecting, laying on his back in the parking lot just so I wouldn’t have to again. This how we used to treat customers in the 80s and 90s and it was a great experience! Thank you Jacob for showing such care and friendliness.

We were thrilled to have our flooring redone and chose your company. We had our measurements taken, received a quote, and even got down to choosing our flooring. We were excited and ready to go until we visited the store to finalize everything. Unfortunately, the customer service in the flooring department was appalling. Three associates were standing near the desks, chatting and laughing and not helping obvious customers walking by, including myself. I had to interrupt their fun to feel like a nuisance, so I decided to try and figure things out on my own. To make matters worse, I discovered that their stair options were terrible. Even down to the installers being very limited on what they can do. It was all a joke, if you ask me. We are taking our service to Floor and Decor across the street, where I had a wonderful experience from the second I walked in to the second I left. They are so helpful and treat their customers with respect as well as have a deep understanding of their products with so many more options. Don't waste your time!

This is my go to store for everything when it comes to lawn, garden, plants, outdoor equipment, etc. They always have everything in stock. The staff is very friendly and helpful when questions arise. I would definitely recommend.

I had a great experience at Home Depot thanks to Mike in the hardware section. He was very helpful and professional, taking the time to answer my questions and make sure I found exactly what I needed. Excellent customer service!

Everyone at this store is polite, courteous and extremely professional. Except Jenny at the service desk. Every time me or my co workers have to deal with her she makes it uncomfortable and difficult. Definitely needs more training or a different job. Life isn’t that hard. Just this morning the customer in front of me was almost in tears due to Jenny’s tirade. Not good for business

I went into the store at 9361 Kingston Pike to make a purchase. I parked away from everyone to kept from getting a door ding. After I came out and got in my vehicle, a commercial size cart slammed into the side of my truck, causing $600 worth of damage. I spoke to the customer that returned the cart and who had placed the card in the return, which has no stop to keep it from rolling out. We actually videotaped two videos of his cart being put inside the return and immediately rolling back out and away. When we Spoke to an employee who immediately had an attitude and said I can tell you right now they’re not Going to pay for this. I couldn’t even speak to anyone with any authority that Day or the next day when I returned with a written estimate for $600 for the repair of my brand new truck. I called the home office in Atlanta and spoke to Customer service which informed me that no report was ever filed, even after myself and the Customer who returned the cart filled out paperwork inside the store. I even tried to reach out to the regional manager with no luck getting a response. There cart returns still have not been repaired…. They don’t care about property damage to vehicles. Lowes , Walmart , Kroger’s have bump stops on their cart returns. I’ve been a loyal customer for 30 years and have spent tens of Thousands of dollars with them Remodeling homes and everyday yard and home supplies. I even spoke with the corporate office. I have taken my business elsewhere and will never shop Home Depot again. They couldn’t care less about their customers. After 2 months and getting nowhere I paid the $600.00 out of my pocket for the damage they caused. Lesson learned. Dont use Home Depot, I’m sure they will reply we want to help. lol lies.
