So this is mid 2019 and I'll have to change my previous review from 5 to a 1 star..... Many many many reasons for this, the BBB is supposed to protect future customers of "bad" contractors, first a 2 year old roof that leaked since the roof was installed and this poor lady called me out to help and I took care of all her needs and fixed the leaks a ( home the concepts ROOFING did!!! ) This older woman contacted the BBB multiple times to file a complaint and the BBB told her that her roof was out of warranty so no claim could be filed, this roof was 2 years old and it first leaked months after first company installed it and she has 40+ calls into this company ( BBB of Lexington KY chose to not project this homeowner nor let future customers know what this company is about ) then at the home and garden show ( which my company has donated over $35,000 in the last 5 years of honest, solid and customer satisfaction approval at the highest rating ) I saw a company having 5 times the amount a service was worth on their deal and I notified plenty of workers and all didn't care and or do a thing.... This is what the BBB is supposed to watch for and protect future customers of!!??? This means that this company has the donation, the bid all into the high inflation amount on the services amount and they'll actually make money on these services, an absolute joke because I give so much more, give it honestly and I lose money on everything I've donated because that's what this is about, to DONATE TO THE BBB AT RUPP ARENA AS THEY ARE A NON PROFIT SO LEGITIMATE COMPANIES ARE TO DONATE AND BE HONEST. This was my first I've review/rating.... been affiliated with the central/eastern KY BBB now for over 4 years now... Been great to deal with in many ways.. Like they say "start with trust"

Wildcat Moving - BEWARE: I purchased $175 "Damage Coverage" the day of the move. While they were loading the truck, they ran out of moving pads, and were told 3 times to stop the clock, and go get more. They didn't, so I went to Lowe's and got all they had, which wasn't enough. Therefore, they ONLY wrapped a Dining Room table and chairs, and wicker furniture in shrink wrap, leaving them damaged when they arrived. I took pictures, and sent to them to get compensated for the damage. All they did, was refunded the $175, and took NO responsibility, saying that the furniture was touched by 2 other companies after they loaded (a driver, and the unloaders). BEWARE!

We ordered a recliner from Frankfort Discount Warehouse. After 8 weeks of waiting for it in a color we preferred, we went into the store and agreed to take a chair in the color they had on hand. It was delivered 2 days later, late in the afternoon on Friday. Monday morning, it broke - something cracked inside as my son sat down in it, and it tilted badly to the side. We called the store, talked to the manager, who told us to send pictures to her so she could contact the manufacturer. We did that immediately, and she told us she would call us as soon as she heard back from the manufacturer. We did not hear back from her that day, nor any of the next few days. So we called back on Friday. The manager said she had not heard back from manufacturer, would call again and let me know when they called. I asked for a loaner chair since it is taking awhile & a return call that day whether they called her or not. She agreed, and said she would ask about the loaner. The return call did not happen. We had to call again at 5:00pm. She said she did not talk to a person, had to leave a message with her sales rep, and that these things take time, "it is a process". We keep getting the same response each time, and no results to date

My company, Fleet Doc has been a member of the BBB since I opened 3-1-2014 and they have supported me from the beginning, if I have questions they have the answers. Fleet Doc is very proactive with any customer concerns which would make you think the BBB is not a value but this is far from the facts. The Lexington BBB has been a huge part in the growth of Fleet Doc in many ways including advertising, sending us referrals, and using their knowledge when a scam is determined. Their support is second to none, we opened a second location in Richmond, KY on 5-19-21 and at our Grand Opening, 4 senior staff members showed up to celebrate with us. This BBB is awesome and I thank everyone one for all the ways Fleet Doc grows because of their support. Jim Bryant

Used their service for two years and it wasn't great as I still had lots of weeds and clover. They promised that they could improve the yard so we maintained their service. On Monday of this week while at home for lunch, they were at my house spraying for weeds. When I returned home from work on Monday evening, I noticed that my flowers looked bad. On Tuesday they looked terrible and realized that while spraying weed control on my grass, they sprayed my flowers. This is killing my flowers. I would think that a "lawn service" company would have employees trained sufficiently so that they would not spray flowers. This was very upsetting to me and I immediately cancelled my service and will NEVER use them again.
