I had such a great experience here. Everyone was so helpful with getting my computer built. It was done quickly and I was walked through how to properly set everything up so I wouldn't have any issues. After coming her I wouldn't recommend any other place for any computer needs.

High quality work done quickly. They’ve diagnosed simple things for me and incredibly complex ones too. They charge fairly for the work they do. Chris has stood out amongst the team as he has invested time in not only working to resolve my issues but educating me along the way. He’s gone well above and beyond expectations for service.

I had such a good experience today. I needed to transfer a file from an old floppy disc so I could work with it on my computer. They were able to get it done within a couple of minutes. I had been stressing about it, and they made it easy. Each person I interacted with at MCW so pleasant and helpful. I will definitely be back!

I reached out to Madison Computer Works when my desktop began booting to a black screen that only showed a cursor. I dropped it off shortly after 9:00 on a Wednesday, and they said they couldn't work on it until the following Monday. I did not hear from them until the following Wednesday, a week after I had dropped it off. The voicemail said they could not replicate my issue, but they fixed some corrupted files and suggested buying more RAM. Fine, but that was not the issue that needed fixing. I would have preferred a call before an hour's work was done to say they were not seeing the same problem. I declined extra RAM and picked up my machine. The same boot to black screen happened as soon as I plugged it in. They helped with some troubleshooting over the phone, which turned out to be one of the monitors. They admitted they did not test the VGA port, so it's unclear if it is the monitor or something about the port itself. They also offered to loan me a cable so I could do more troubleshooting, which I declined. I'm unhappy to have paid a high price for the issue to reoccur, the time working was spent on other things on my computer, and attempt at an upsell. However, the staff was kind, respectful, and helpful when I was interacting with them. They also did phone troubleshooting to help identify the problem, even if they didn't solve it in the store. A mixed experience overall.

These folks are the best! I'm so happy they are in Madison. I was just in yesterday as my laptop had been seized up by a scam. I was prepped for a few day turnaround and the tech had it back up and running (with extra protection added) in about 10 min. I've bought computers there and had service done for years. Absolutely trust these folks to keep my computers running. I never have the horror stories my friends around the country have who don't have local care. Thank you!

Simply the BEST!!! Madison Computer Works, Inc is the only place that I'll go for computer services! As always, I was treated like family from Sarah and Brian. They are always so kind, friendly and "happy to help." They truly care about their customers! I purchased an external hard drive and Ethan and Silas kindly helped set it up for me putting the shortcut on my laptop. I had a variety of questions with my laptop (messages popping up, pictures not transferring over, etc.) and Ethan and Silas went above and beyond to help me resolve my computer issues! They were so kind, patient and friendly. I'm not tech savvy and they took all the time needed to answer my questions and kindly help me! They too, made me feel valued like family! Madison Computer Works, Inc is the BEST!!!

Helped me out when I was in a pickle. I was building a computer for my son and noticed the M.2 NVME slot was missing the standoff and screw to secure the hard river to the board. After calling a few places they were the only ones that said they could help me. They allowed me to look through their screw collection (which is quite impressive [ meaning if you need a screw for anything in your computer, they probably have it]) and eventually helped me find exactly what I was looking for. The entire build was on hold because of this pesky little screw and they hooked me up and let me have it for free. If you ever need anything computer related, be it repairs or just tiny little parts that you forget you need, they will do their best to help. Highly recommend them.
