I have a 30x40 shop with 9’ walls and a high pitched roof that I asked Koala to insulate for me. They gave me a fair price and was able to complete the project in my timeline and budget. Very professional to deal with and gave me the best advice. I highly recommend giving them a call for any spray-in insulation needs you may have. They did a fantastic job! Terrible Service & Dangerous Installation – Avoid Koala at All Costs A sump pump was installed in May 2025. After heavy rain last week, I started hearing a loud, disturbing noise inside my house—sounded like splashing water and the sump pump was running louder than usual, almost like a drilling noise. I called Koala over the weekend and left a voicemail, fully aware they might not respond until Monday. When I followed up myself around 10 a.m. on Monday (10/22), the call was vague. The person who answered initially said someone would come that day, but when I asked for a time, they changed the story and said all their workers were out of town, so it would be Tuesday instead. I agreed. Later that same day, I got a text around noon saying they finished a job early and could come by that afternoon. I replied, "That works." The workers arrived and appeared to clear the pipe that drains into the driveway, but no one gave me any kind of update on what else (if anything) was done. No text, no call—nothing. That evening, a new noise started. I hoped it was just part of the system adjusting, but it didn’t stop. The sump pump began turning on and off every 30 minutes—24/7—even though it hadn’t rained, the sky was clear, and the crawlspace was completely dry. On Thursday 9/25, I called and texted Koala again to say I was still having problems. I even sent a video and audio recording of the noise. I never got a response—no text, no call, no follow-up of any kind. I tried to be patient and give them the benefit of the doubt, but clearly this is not a responsible business. They don’t care whether the job was done correctly or safely. I finally had to call a different company. They discovered that a piece of the pump had come loose and was lying sideways, causing the unit to run non-stop. It was extremely hot to the touch from overworking for days straight, and I was told it was a serious safety risk—it could have overheated or caused major damage. The pump now needs to be replaced. Koala has been completely MIA and has done nothing to address this dangerous situation. Do not trust this company. Poor communication, lack of accountability, and irresponsible workmanship. I would never recommend Koala to anyone. BE AWARE.

Done in two days, first crew removed the old insulation and the next day another crew put in the spray foam. They were very careful to keep the site clean and the cost was much less than I had expected. Now two days later, the house is so much cooler. Highly recommended Koala!

I needed my 12x20 portable building insulated to control temps easier and use less energy to protect items that should not be in such a great range of temps like my other uninsulated building. They arrived promptly. Immediately started doing the prep work and sealing up over windows and outlets and lights. They got their equipment all prepped and went to work. Did not waste time. Got it all done to my satisfaction. Cleaned all the extra leavings up pretty darn good. I would use them again.

I recommend Koala and echo the positive sentiments expressed by other reviewers. My project involved removal of old insulation, sealing, and installation of new fiberglass insulation. I had a couple of home renovation delays and Steve worked patiently with me through those with ease. Shout-out to Bett and Cane who did my sealing and install. They are mannerly professionals who treated me and my home with kindness and respect and worked cheerfully despite the hot and miserable conditions.
